Atrocious first half. In the second we improved by deciding to hit hopeful up-and-unders into the box. Every set piece they had was a nightmare, and we seem to be frightened of clearing the ball—no confidence around our own box at all. Midfield nowhere today. Edwards lots of running nowhere—did he ever actually beat his man or get a telling cross in? Graham awful. Nolan looks like he might develop into an adequate replacement for Stephen Gleeson—we need Huws, Bishop, and Dozzell back ASAP. Not optimistic after that—offer me 20th in May, and I'll take it in a heartbeat. |
