 | Forum Reply | Because we’re not allowed to worry… at 13:39 7 Jul 2025
We shouldn’t - would be more worried if we were losing key players - what we have is more than adequate for competing and doing well - having a mainstay to compete in the premier league is another issue but we have the seasons transfer windows to sort that out. |
 | Forum Reply | Why are people panicking about signings? at 09:43 5 Jul 2025
We do t need a striker for championship - we have Hirst and any one of Chaplin, broadhead or szmodics to play behind or even instead of if we want. That’s discounting al Hamadi who would be ok at this level. We do not need any new players for championship but if we are building a team to compete in the premiership and want to start now then that’s what we will be looking for but won’t come cheap or easy. |

Great start and should have an assist already bar some super poor Finishing. |

Waking up in the morning and realising you have no work or going to bed the night before realising you have no work. Having a clear, blank, worry free mind, sitting in the garden with a Beer doing sweet FA and literally just enjoying the moment. re-watching on a repeat loop Bryan Guns Air kick before the own goal. |

Taylor probably is but not for us - we don’t play a style that accommodates what he is all about. Strange buyfrom McKenna but like philogene I think he was sucked into how good he look in highlight reels with out thinking about what he could do in our team to the style we play [Post edited 25 May 17:51]

That’s why since burns and ogbenie have been injured it has ruined what McKenna wanted from us - be able to break away - still positive for next season - broadhead, Hirst and Chaplin still have that reading of each other |

Followed by an us doing an us - yeah Jarrod we’lllet you let you get on your left foot and shoot - we know how poor you are . Walton should have don’t better in my mind though. [Post edited 25 May 17:19]

Silly man, still remember him and Lee Martin were unplayable when we beat wet spam. |
 | Forum Reply | Taking the opposition into account, this performance is worst of the season (n/t at 16:40 18 May 2025
Finishing is part of the performance - finishing like a team of 7 year olds at primary school goes towards the performance which has been shocking. Not looking up, not releasing the ball quickly, crap passing. Creating 20 shots and having about 2 on target is on par to the Maidstone game. |
 | Forum Reply | If Muric had conceded that etc etc at 16:30 18 May 2025
The difference is finishing - we have had scuff after scuff after scuff, drag after drag after drag. Who does the technical, finishing coaching for these players. Encisio for all his worldies takes about 99 shots before ones on target. |
 | Forum Reply | Sorry but Cajuste is so lightweight at 15:35 18 May 2025
Agree, numerous times he should have taken one for the team, hasn’t and they scored from the break. It is a summary of our season though, every error has been punished or even half error. |
 | Forum Reply | Gosh, we gave Citeh way too much respect this season. (n/t) at 20:21 17 May 2025
One thing with palace, they have a strong group of players but a few individuals that makes the team tick, I could be wrong but they have had next to no injuries all season especially of the big 3 players. We didn’t recruit well, but boy oh boy were our injuries horrific compared most other premier teams barring maybe Tottenham that also had a horrendous injury list. |

I think living in prison for 38 years must have been considerably worse to him than if he had been put to death. Can you imagine the mental torture of knowing you are innocent but nothing you can do about it. |
 | Forum Reply | Keir Starmer: "Settlement in UK is a privilege that is earned, not a right& at 12:31 15 May 2025
Immigration through legal channels is not the issue and he knows it, its part of the issue but foreign nationals, especially going through our education system are paying hundreds of thousands to our government in tuition fees, visa fees, before getting any where close to settlement status. Its the Illegal immigrants and the boat load of fighting age males that are the elephant in the room and that Starmer is not addressing. I do appreciate its not easily dealt with but im not a government worker/politician paid to deal with it. All i know is we are paying the French to assist in blocking them from leaving French soil which they are blatantly not doing so may as well cut their funding. We are paying billions in expenses to keep them detained in luxury until legal channels allow them to be deported which can take years if they haven't escaped into the wilderness. I appreciate their is a bit of coastline that you have to permanently check over but nothing that a few million on patrolled boats, floating security check points and drones shouldn't be able to cover for far less than what has to be paid per illegal immigrant when they make it to our land. I dont envy the current state of things or who ever has to deal with such a mess but Labour now and Tories earlier have really screwed the Pooch and are not helping them selves at all. I would honestly rather the government say its incompetent and doesnt know how to deal with the boats but is trying then the rubbish soundbites they are spouting at the moment. We want to see action not hot air. Well thats me any way |
 | Forum Reply | There's probably a decent chance Delap plays for us in the Champ, right? at 07:31 14 May 2025
I would assume man city like villa did with philogene, have first dibs and money off due to their sell on,so would be surprise if he went to anywhere else other than there. If it was say 20% and this value of 30m keeps getting bound around which I dont think is accurate as would Mean they could get him for 26million. I think it might be 30 million for them as includes the money off from their sell on but 20% more for any other team. Either way would be stupid to manu as they have no pace throughout there team, need a massive overhaul and will most likely end up with a new manager in less than 10 games when things don’t go well. |

Clearly knows his stock is high enough that he can take his pick over what club to join and is playing not to get injured would be my guess. |
 | Forum Reply | Eds concert at 21:28 5 May 2025
He’s doing it to support the club not the fans - club get plenty of revenue, he’s gets more recognition for supporting his club and fans will just have to join the rest of the world to get tickets on ticketmaster unfortunately. |
 | Forum Reply | Really liking the look of J Clarke in preparation for next season (n/t) at 18:51 4 May 2025
I’m being harsh yes but based on his cost, he’s not a premier quality player, I admit to being judgmental but don’t see that he has the game or attributes for the money that was spent on him. He’s not big enough, or quick enough and those are pretty much attributes you can’t develop either: . I’m sure he will be fine as we should be the dominant force next season and be the team in the front foot with 70% possession where any player should look good even phlogene. Hopefully once promoted again, I don’t think he will be the type of player we need to keep us in the premier league. His main attribute is his coming in off the left and smashing it in at an angle which I have not seen him to do much as a right winger for any team including England under 21. I’ll support him as a player but am not going to blow how air up his ass and say I think he’s good when I actually don’t think he is anywhere close to the value that we have paid for him. Please prove me wrong philogene, I want to be wrong as want every player to be successful for town. |
