Ipswich Ramblings
at 20:55:06

Pip 50 - we were neck and neck with our 'friends' until the red card and then fell short right at the end. They had 40 million quids worth of talent on the pitch that day. We had 10k. Whether you like it or not, McCarthy's last two seasons have been our most successful in 10 years. That's not rubbish, that's just fact. Minus Newcastle, this season is the tightest season in the championship to date. No point in wishing this fails. Players are coming back from injury. We've invested in young, exciting footballers this summer. Get behind the team.

Ipswich Ramblings
at 17:01:27

@bongoblue - 24 months ago was the 14/15 season, the same season we were pushing for promotion and almost did it. It was the best season in 10 years. That was a breath of fresh air from the horror of Jewell and Keane. 12 months ago (last season) we finished 7th, 2 wins off the play-offs. We also had our 3 best players (Fraser, McGoldrick and Bishop) out with injury. It's been a difficult start to season, but not tragic and once again, injuries have been against us. McCarthy won't be going this season. Get behind the team and the club.

McCarthy Pleased With Taylor Progress
at 12:04:34

i think we need Murphy in the starting 11. We need a big target man who can win balls in the air and scare defenders with his size and strength. McGoldrick and Murph up top with Taylor just behind would be ideal! Tabb and Edwards on the wings with Skuse or Hyam holding.

McCarthy: No Regrets
at 22:56:40

Last Saturday was unlucky, tonight disappointing. Despite the first two results, we need to actually get behind the team. On Saturday, when Reading got their second, our fans just sat there and did nothing. I'm confident we can do wel this season, it's such a tight league where a few wins can soon send you towards the play-offs. If we go a goal down on Saturday, let's actually try and get behind the team instead of moaning and going silent. We need to make the opposing teams fear us when they play at Portman Road. Let's get those 3 points on Saturday and get this season going! COYB!

More Reading Tickets on Sale

Great that we've sold our end out for the first game! I'm just annoyed because I had to buy a ticket in the home end as I didn't want to miss out.

Thought he looked great against boro and was looking forward to him playing Bolton. Hopefully Murph will step up and bang them in. Need our luck to change with injuries though ...

McCarthy: Draw a Fair Result
at 21:23:40

Definitely think Ipswich could have taken all 3 points at the end but I'm sure Bristol also felt they could have got a second when they were on top in the first half. Full credit for not crumbling and losing a tricky game but we should be looking to get 3 points from these games. That said, I'd be happy to get a draw at Charlton, a place I seem to remember us struggling over the years. A win and 4 points out of 6 from these games would be a fantastic return! CMON YOU BLUES

Jewell Delighted With Third Successive Win
at 12:12:00

Really pleased with the result last night. We started really well and got the goal, have to admit I was nervous and thought they might knick one but we held out and could have made it look it even better, so I'm very pleased! Also before the game I was worried about Delaney and Smith but they proved me wrong and helped to keep a clean sheet. Really excited for the game against Cardiff Saturday, if we can get the 3 points and get the elusive 4th straight win then that will be a massive step in the right direction!

Town Announce New Boro Prices
at 17:59:39

Yes flashblue, I must be thick, yet it is you who compares the cancellation of a football game to that of the cinema experience. You make a fantastic point, give yourself a pat on the back for that one. I get the feeling, flashblue, that you would have moaned whatever clegg offered. There's no point in arguing with a person (flashblue) who doesn't value the word of a business man who is the CEO of a championship football club and has also helped to bring the Olympics to the country. So unless your Alan Sugar in disguise stop making outrageous suggestions and accept what is on offer!

TARGET-PREM- "If I went to the cinema and the projector broke down half way throught the film should I pay again to come back and see it again??"

You absolute moron!!! When you go to the cinema they don't employ an extra 400 people to make sure you're film runs! They are going to have to employ police, stewards etc to make sure this game happens safely. You really have no idea so go away please.

Town Announce New Boro Prices

Any fan on here complaining about ITFC asking people to buy a ticket for 5-10 quid is a moron! It must cost a hell of a lot to run a championship fixture and although it's frustrating to be asked to pay again it was the ref, not clegg who called the game off! Get real you bunch of moaning idiots!

Town Back in For Bullard
at 14:14:58

READ MY THEORY- I think this was the plan by Hull all along. Keep Bullard on the side lines all pre-season, draining his fitness so they could let Ipswich have Bullard once they got the Ipswich v Hull fixture out of the way.
Would be great to have someone like Bullard feeding Chopra.

Jewell: Carson Not Back in Best Shape
at 09:55:07

He looked really sharpe to me on Saturday. Hopefully Carson, Martin and JET can all fight each other for a place in the team, it will be a healthy competition for places. I hate how our fans don't give players the time to adjust, you all did it with Priskin and now I can see you all doing it with JET. show them support.

Jewell Likely to Stick With Same Side
at 16:53:53

Until Andrews comes in I guess Kennedy is our best holding midfield option. Hyam has better energy and is more aggressive but Kennedy is a great passer and will feed Martin and JET more effectivley. Hyam will be a decent addition in the second half when Kennedy tiers and Bowyer can add the experience to calm Hyam. But Andrews will nicely complete the 4-5-1 formation.

would love to see either JET, Chopra or Martin score tomorrow.

Jewell Will Decide On Team On Thursday
at 12:39:35

I agree @Blue Jake! Jewell is far more qualified than anyone on here, unless @Footyblue is actually Fergie in disguise?
I do like the thought of us attacking Bristol with a 4-4-2 but I'm sure Jewell knows what he's doing. So excited for Saturday.
