I use Revolut on my travels. I like it cos you can just top up whenever you want to use it and you get a good exchange rate with it and fee-free transactions. I'd only consider getting one for use abroad.

If you just get the basic card, there is no fee. I think the monthly fee is for the premium cards.

I used to follow them. Now a court order says I can't go within 500 metres :(

How much could we get for Al-Hamadi then?

I think 2m sounds about right, but maybe add a sell-on clause if he does increase in value.

Dont worry. Talks with Alan Shearer and Peter Shilton are at an advanced stage I am told. If Omari goes, I expect we'll look at Steve McManaman.

We could go back in for him now. He can smoke out back with Ashley Young.

If you go down into the basement of the George Hotel, you can see the destruction layer - it's a layer of burnt debris from when the Iceni torched the place.

Maybe we wont have someone for start of the season, but hopefully before the transfer window closes. Striker is a priority position. Hirst is yet to have a season with us where he hasn't been out for a long spell so that's a big worry.

Yeah I noted that - Vikings were defeated at 1066 at Stamford Bridge, Exactly same time as the Normans invaded. King Harold's forces were up north so the old Normans sneaked in.

I don't think it's correct to say the Vikings didn't leave a mark. Many remained in the UK, converted to Christianity and settled - adding considerably to the gene pool, adding many words to the language and creating systems of democracy, adding new skills, technology, farming methods, etc.

I have it too. I've had surgery twice to fix my fingers. BTW, the viking disease label is a bit of a misnomer. Although prevalent in Northern European populations, it can also be found in other parts of the world. It's commonly found in Japan for example and some areas of Africa where it certainly can't be linked to Vikings!
