took him 3 times to take a kick from an offside, the ref wanted the ball on the ground and stopped but alas this goalkeeper was confused by basic football. He is now a liability and needs to be on the bench. |

Can't think of many positives at all to be honest. Mckenna is not the best manager in the world as some think, sometimes he does things that confuse and he gets things wrong. On the pitch though today, there was little desire, there was little motivation from the captain (think how vocal magilton was as captain), there is an absolutely dreadful goalkeeper in between the sticks. This season will almost certainly end in relegation. Fully deserved on today's performance. |

He is currently naked. Showing he is not Premiership quality, like some of our players. Muric should be embarrassed, punching balls away with two fists to opposition players, when he could catch it and then obviously his brainfarts when he thinks he is something he is not, ridiculous decision to come charging out of his goal. He is an absolute clown, needs removing immediately from the team.... |

It is quite incredible the way football has been heading and will continue to. It has happened before with teams and with more spending than us but our squad had 100 million pounds spent on it over the summer, 100 million! - you don't get all that much quality on yesterday's showing for 100 million nowadays! |

I am not convinced that we have proven we can compete in every game we play, arguably against the bigger teams we tend to play better and teams who we need to be beating to stand any chance of survival we find very difficult to play against. Unfortunately on here and on Twitter there is so much bravado especially with all the Morsy stuff that "we will sing his name LOUD" and pathetically there was one rendition of his song, the flat atmosphere on a Tuesday night at home was due to us looking like we are struggling to survive this season. North stand was incredibly quiet, other stands do sing but not everyone does, and it tends to be that we don't all hear the same atmosphere given the size of the stadium. Never convinced by the whole 12th man personally, we as fans react to what we see on the pitch, it is the same as life, you react to what you see. If the play is poor, and it really was, then it is tough to get up and be vocal, it is easier for people to express frustration moaning and groaning. It was more noisy with smaller crowds of people supporting the team through thick and thin, we still have fans who do not know how to find their seat, let alone be fully up for a riotous noise fest! I read this on twitter just now: "I suspect the same people who suggest immigrants need to ‘live by British values’ are a lot of the same people saying ‘he can do what he wants!’ in relation to Sammy." Looking at how certain fans reacted to Muslim related news in such a negative way, it is so bizarre to see them tweeting their support for a Muslim belief. the whole thing has created a stain on this club, nothing positive at all and only negatives. |

It is difficult to say much without being offensive to our captain, but he has chosen to not wear the armband because of "religious" reasons whilst he has done other things that are directly against these same "religious" beliefs. like it or not he has tarnished the name of the club on the LGBTQ issue. it is all over the press |

LGBTQ fans will not declare their opinions in droves because of the absolute vitriol being posted online about how wonderful Morsy is for NOT being part of the norm in making a statement by wearing the armband that football is for everyone. Doesn't take much looking on social media and messageboards to see that backing our captain because he is our captain is more important than calling him out to say that his choice was wrong and maybe the club should have given the armband to someone else for that game. The ONLY captain who did not wear it. - Embarrassing for the club. I am not sure how long Sam has been a Muslim; his life choices dictate that he wasn't as strict a follower as he is now, maybe. Great footballer, one of the best captains we have ever had but on this occasion playing the religious belief card when it hasn't been played about other things is just daft. |
