It took us 8 hours to get from Poole to Ipswich yesterday. I realise it was an exceptionally busy day , but even so the number of long queues at many roadworks where no one seemed to be working was astonishing. Also queued for 90 minutes to get through the Dartford tunnel. I am glad that these things don’t happen in Guernsey!
The waterfront bistro in Ipswich was , thankfully , very good. |

Moore has done really well for us, and far better than I expected, but I think Hirst showed how much we missed him in the hour he played last night. He has mobility, foot ball intelligence and is an instinctive finisher, and fits better into our system. |

I thought that the Yanks were collectively the most overweight nation from what I saw in Orlando a few years ago, but I am currently on a British cruise , and there a considerable number of very obese people on the ship. I realise that some may have genuine medical issues, but the way many them attack the buffets is a sight to behold. |
