I have a recollection from many years ago ( a long time before TWTD ) when a Manager,I don’t recall which one, but it might even have been Robson, fell out with the local press, and refused to engage with them . It didn’t last very long. |

Can someone please tell me how to change the commentary to Radio Suffolk on the I follow video. |

After Saturday I made the comment that Holy’s distribution is very poor, and got shot down because otherwise he had a good game. Last night, even without the goal he gifted them, it was even worse. The contrast between their keeper who used the ball very well was stark. If we persist in playing short balls to Toto and Wilson we are going to get into trouble as neither of them are good on the ball. I guess it would help if he had a big man like Hawkins to aim at, but he just seems to massively overhit every time. |
 | Forum Thread | Holly’s distribution at 18:16 17 Oct 2020
It really is poor. Obviously without a target to aim for makes it difficult, but he seems to overhit even when aiming out wide. It is difficult to judge without seeing the whole pitch, but one would have thought someone would find some space for a shorter pass. |

As from June 20th social distancing restrictions will not apply in Guernsey. That means that life returns to normal except for travel restrictions. As far as I know New Zealand is the only other country to have reached this stage. |

Be proud of your ancestry. Guernsey is the first country in Europe to be officially free of Covid 19. We have had no new cases for 27 days, and have no active cases. |

As from May 30th schools will be back to normal. Hairdressers, beauticians and other retailers open, and bars and restaurants open with certain restrictions. Well done Guernsey. Still virtually impossible to get on and off the island though. |

On breakfast TV saying that Ryanair are going to run most of their flights from July 1 st. No social distancing on the plane, but face masks obligatory. He said that people will just ignore the 14 days isolation rule on their return. He didn’t elaborate on what the protocol might be prior to boarding. He said people want to go to the usual holiday destinations, but ,at the moment there are still very tight restrictions on hotels, restaurants etc. in these destinations. What do folk think? |

On Sky Arts now. More proper music. |

Anyone else watching his concert on Sky Arts now. ? That is what I call proper music. |

Anyone had or having one today. ? Could smell one from a nearby house. Good on them provided they are sticking to the social distancing rules. |
 | Forum Thread | Hospital at 20:33 1 Apr 2020
I had to go to our hospital today ( only one here on Guernsey) for a post operation (orthopedic) with the surgeon. They have basically.split the hospital in two. One to deal with Corona Virus and related cases, and the other half the rest On arrival at the temporary home for orthopedics I was asked a few general questions as to my health. No one was wearing any kind of PPE. I was then taken for an x-ray which was basically in the Corona Virus dedicated part. On arrival there a nurse with a mask took my temperature, pulse and oxygen level. She declared that I was fit to be there. The radiology staff had no PPE. On my return to orthopedics I saw the surgeon who had no PPE either. All rather confusing. It felt very eerie in the hospital , and the porter who took me for x-ray agreed. I don’t see that we can playe 4-4-2. We only have one left sided midfielder which is Garbutt. No other player can fill that role. This means that Early has to play left back. Not his best position. Presumably Donacien at right back, not great. None of our other midfielders are suited to playing wide except for Edwards who isn’t really good enough imo. |

If they had stayed fit would we be where we are now? |

Anyone care to speculate where we might be if he hadn’t bought the club? |

Just had a huge pop at Boris. That has completely ruined any chance of him agreeing to an interview. Difficult to see a pro Tory bias from the BBC there. |
