In the 70s my D ad was an Ipswich Town councilor.

I don’t think the French fishermen give a flying f-ck what their government does.

UK sending gunboats to “monitor” the situation. I’ll report if I hear gunfire.

They are now contemplating an air bridge between us and them. However there is no intention to invade them.

Talks broken off without agreement , although some progress made. French fishermen facing bankruptcy apparently. Oddly the Jersey fishermen are not happy with the agreement made, and have sympathy with their counterparts. Unsurprisingly this appears to be purely political.

Funnily enough it is not really discussed.

We do not have any offshore wind farms in any of the Channel Islands.

The cynical would say “more by luck than judgement” , although our Director of Public Health is brilliant, and at least the politicians have not questioned her.

We are chuckling on the sidelines. It seems that we made a separate agreement with the Frogs.

They are obviously trying to set a record for the oldest average age League team, and possibly the slowest.

It’s all about scallops. From reports locally here which may well be biased, the French are trying to re-negotiate a previously agreed quota deal.

I just hope that Cook plays him further up the pitch next season. Another central midfielder like Downes needed to play in the central two.

Norwood should be wrapped in paper , and sent somewhere. He had at least three clear chances and failed to get anywhere near the target. He is just not good enough.

RIP Frank Brogan

My recollection is that Brogan was very much left footed. Broadfoot had the ability to cut inside from the right and let fly with his left foot . Unfortunately he was not very accurate!
