Ironically it would be one of the very few places I wouldn’t mind seeing a half and half scarf - on the statue of Sir Bobby |

But do you think if you put any of the managers of the ‘big 6’ teams in charge at either Southampton, Leicester or us in the close season(with the same resources), would any of them been able to prevent those clubs from relegation? I suspect not.. |

Morsy will either not be with us next season or if he is, he won’t be the playing influence he was in the First Division and last year in the Championship. Whoever replaces him is absolutely key to our chances of success |

I think Downes will return… |
 | Forum Thread | Delap at 09:51 17 Jan 2025
Thought that a key moment last night was when Delap picked up a yellow for a petulant foul on Veltman. Against Chelsea, he bullied their defenders and they lost their head. Last night, Veltman played a perfect game of niggly fouls and general sh1thousery and won his duels. How he didn’t get a yellow until late in the 2nd half I don’t know, but if that happens to Delap, he just needs to be savvy. I’m sure that will come with experience. |

An immoral wrongun running away from the sh*tf*st he’s created |

I still can’t believe that they only got one yellow all match, with both Wilson and Silva avoiding any censure |

If Hirst wasn’t injured he would have started one of the three games this week and Delap would have played less minutes. Of course he’s got a lot to learn, but I wouldn’t have wanted to sign any other player for that price in the summer. [Post edited 8 Dec 2024 20:16]

Good luck to Kane who is due to make his international debut for Grenada vs Curacao in a few hours time! |
 | Forum Reply | Declan Rice red card at 10:22 2 Sep 2024
It was the correct decision but: 1. If he books Rice for that offence, he should have booked the Brighton player earlier in the game for the same offence and 2. The Brighton player should have been booked for deliberately kicking Rice |
 | Forum Thread | Surreal 24 hours at 14:56 16 Aug 2024
I have supported Town since my first visit to Portman Road in the 1979/80 season and I don’t think I have experienced a more surreal 24 hours. Yes I loved the Wembley play off final, Helsingborg away, Exeter (Div 1) and Huddersfield (championship), but driving home last night listening to Five Live listening to Warky, Brenner and Wes to then getting back home to see Harry being interviewed by Matty Holland on Sky was just mad. A triple signing today of players of real Premiership quality and a worldwide music star investing in the club before scooting down the A12 to support Taylor Swift at Wembley. Can the madness continue for another 24 hours at least…… |

It’s all kicking off with the Budgies. Very surprised. I thought he loved them when he kissed the badge last season …..😊 |

If a parent and three kids (Junior Blues) enter the ballot and only one of the Junior Blues is successful, does anyone know if the club will allow the Junior Blue entry (without an adult)? |

Given that we will be on Sky a lot more, can see him being the ‘go to’ Ipswich man in the studio next season |

Not sure this has been announced but have heard locally that we are playing Oxford at the Kassam on 30/07. If so, let’s hope the fog stays away…. |
