We do have a load of attacking options. I'd be interested to know how many of those players you think will better what they did in 23-24 (taking away Ogbene? |

No. Is that wrong? I can't see all of them hitting the heights they did for other teams. That's my fear. Sorry if not everyone agrees with it. Surely you also have to take into account how many games they've played together - in the same team - at this level? A big ask, I'd say. |

So my point still stands - even if you feel there's no point to it. We need the aforementioned players to repeat what they've done before. I can't see it. Should I change my view to something positive because that's what I believe? I don't understand these posters who moan about other people's posts if it doesn't agree with their narrative. Perhaps all the posts should go through you and then you can select which ones to put on here. ALL views are welcome. |

....we scored 92 goals. If Omari now leaves - and good luck to him if he does - we are gonna need some stellar attacking replacements or players having a fantastic season, which, of course, is possible. We'll need, say, Ogbeni, Clarke, Szmodics, Philogene, Chaplin and Broadhead to be contributing close to 10 goals, while Hirst will arguably need to step up, too. Can't see it happening in terms of us being top two right now. All of that can change with the right incomings. |

….for the majority of games this season and we could get ONLY one of Cajuste or Downes, who would you buy out of those 2? For me, Downes all day long. |

I think the keeper situation at the start of the season was a massive factor in our demise. We'll never know how we ended up with Muric, but it's a fair argument to have by saying would we be in a better position had he got, say, Palmer from day one. It takes time for some players to settle. Others like Cajuste look like naturals at this level. I can't tell you our best XI so I doubt KM knows. We need to forge links all over the pitch. Too many new players, too many changes too quickly at this level. I believe Ashton and KM thought we'd stay up with the squad we'd built. KM must take a look in the mirror, too. Does he have a Plan B? Finally.....I don't think it'll be easy to make an instant return to the top flight. Delap will obv go. the central midfield needs an overhaul. I don't think Morsy can be a regular over 46 games next season. And who are we sticking with at the back. We need a strong spine. Without Delap, with the need for new blood in central midfield and questions over our centre halves, it'll take good planning and a decent transfer window in the summer. |

....send back Kalvin P to Man City now. It hasn't worked, but we don't need to be paying a percentage of his wage if we all but relegated. Drop Davis, too, and play Townend. Only reason to play Delap now is to up his value - otherwise I'd give Hurst a run. And stick with whatever centre-half partnership you want for next season. KM (or whoever takes over) has a nice pre-season over the next 8 games. Use it wisely. I'd also send back Encisco, although we won't. Totally pointless pointless playing him now (and I don't know why he's here anyway). Not all doom and gloom. We'll back back soon. |

IF we went down and IF McK left, I'd take Gareth Southgate |

Hojlund....Zirkzee....Dorku....they cost £130m+ alone. Delap must be worth £50m+. Fernandes was different gravy tonight. Unfortunately for us. |

The dressing room spirit we once had is dead. Official. Panic buy. Of course I hope it works. That’s Muric (and Walton) gone in the summer. So many new faces. I have no idea what our best XI is. God knows how KM works it all out. Sorry for bringing up this thread again. I |
