It's not about him reading the forum ahaha. It's the general moaning and looking for negatives some of our fans have, especially against players like Freddie. Back all the players not just the ones you like. We're are second ffs. Would read this forum like we are bottom half |

Don't get me wrong his not as good as Hirst and ideally we need an improvement there, but from the very first minute, any tiny error he made the whole ground moaned. The guy has been sat on the bench for 3 months, what do you expect. Rather than moan lets get behind him. It's like people want him to fail.
Really don't think he had that bad of a game. Was a lot better at pressing than Jackson against Leicester. |

I think we may lose a few (Not saying I want them to leave!)
Walton- We know his good enough for Championship, and he won't be happy being no.2, I think he leaves for mid table Champ team.
Edmundson- Again good enough for mid/lower Champ. Not making bench for us now behind Axel, I can see him leaving.
Janoi- Saw how he is comfortable at league one level, not getting anywhere near our team so I reckon will get some interest.
Freddie- Clearly behind Jackson after last night. If we sign another striker and Hirst is only 4/6 weeks out, I think Freddie will go.

Personally I don't think Szmodics would be a good signing. Yeah his scoring goals but I don't think he'd fit our system as a Hirst replacement.
He'd work in Chaplin/Broadhead role but not big enough to play up top on his own like Hirst. |

We only had 9k at the FA Cup vs Non League last year. Cold Friday night up north against a tiny non league side, not surprised it was a low attendance. |

I don't want to get ahead of myself but I was having a think about how many of our starting 11 is Prem Standard. The jump is much larger than this season so was thinking how many signings would we realistically need?
I love watching this team play, but you only have to look at Burnley. They walked the Champ last season but really struggling to make the step up.
Thoughts on which current players start the first game of the Prem Season? |
