I've had 2 of those, somewhat confusing and a bit worrying. But no phone call - apparently if you get a call you MUST isolate but not if you get an app message. Legally.

Covid Vaccine
at 09:55 19 Oct 2020

That is not a reason for widely giving the vaccine. The more people that are immune, the less chance of passing the virus to someone in a vulnerbale group. Not to mention the "long COVID" that is being reported where symptoms can be long term if not permanent, such as deafness. The potential damage that COVID can do means that as many people as possible should get vaccinated.

Motm Chambers again (n/t)

He was indeed very good again. But in my view Wilson pipped him - unsung player who barely put a foot wrong and looked a much different player to last season.

Time for a revolution maybe? Our government is corrupt, criminal, and incompetent. And we just let them get away with it.................

How many watched the stream on Sat?

I watched it - quite a different experience. When we can return to stadiums, I will expect the press "pause" in the game so I can go and have a wazz.

Tom Hunt attacking young local journalists I see ...

Jo Churchill is my MP, I have met her a few times and actually quite like her as a person. But every time I write to her I get the same bland reply back as most other people around the country. She is now a Junior Minister and so won't rock the boat, although I suspect there are a few issues where she doesn't agree with Govt policy - like Brexit. But she doesn't only put party beforfe country, she puts self before country too. Does things in exactly the reverse way what her namesake Winston said: Country before party before self.

Refereeing seems better this season?
at 11:36 29 Sep 2020

I thought Saturday's ref was good - I hardly noticed him and that is exactly how it should be. May be they are reacting better to no crowds and the players may not be being wound up by fans either. None of which is an excuse to keep us fans out of grounds for any longer than is sbsolutely necessary. No footie at PR is actually having a deleterious impact on my mental health (with other contributory factors).

More like bloody students! Just wait for the same type of story in England or Wales. Colleague of mine's daughter has just gone to Uni of S Wales (incidentally where my elder son studied) and they are locked down at weekends!

Ifollow info

I want to watch Saturday's game on iFollow. I have registered but it appears I need to cough up £10 to subscribe to the video feed. I thought it was free to ST holders (I am one)? Can anyone help as this is new to me and I am not as IT-savvy as I used to be!

UDI for East Anglia. P*ssed off that we may have national lockdown coming back when in truth some regions are keeping COVID at bay reasonably well. And some aren't.
