You lot have got nothing to fret about seeing as I've been attempting to explain to Madam B the rules and intricacies of cricket during the Pakistan game which has pretty much drained me.

Long story short, she now loves cricket giving it the boundary arm shuffle shake in front of the TV. She's not coming to the Oval with me though.

My early contender for one of the albums of the year - Algiers - There Is No Year. As usual, for those of you who have never checked them out, its Gil Scott Heron linking up with the Clash with a back tones of Blues, Gospel and Soul digging away at the underbelly of Trumps America. Perhaps more mainstream than previous albums but still almighty wonderous.

I went to see them in the week at Village Underground in Shoreditch which was a powerful , compelling, performance where they

Almost 6,000 dogs slaughtered in 2017 for being too slow ? Yes, I'm aware that worse atrocities are happening to humans in various parts of the World right now but there's no need for this.

Lamberts worst game in charge, I thought that the boy Kenlock had a very good game and is developing nicely with his run of matches. Young Andre did some sprayed out some delightful passes and through balls over the heads of defenders when he was given the space towards the end by Hull. Clearly though he needs to to work on other aspects of his play.

We tend to overlook the talent that we have in this country and get lost in the gloss of HBO and the lights out Skandi noir programs. Let's not mess about here, this last series of Endeavour has been chuffin' excellent, and on that channel that's not the BBC too.

For goodness sake Roy, have a word with Evra about wearing that bow tie over his jumper. Its an even worse tie travesty than our own Rommy on Monday, and while you're at it, tell him to untuck his jumper.

Leeds charged Brentford £39, or £44 on the day for a second tier game of bleedin' football ? I know we've been not exactly been blameless in the reasonable ticket prices in the past but surely something has to be done and not just by fans boycotting games. £25 for an away ticket tops.

Yes, I'm looking at you yellow vermin with your £40 tickets too.
