Hmm, not really. I know a few blokes that spend that for their Carp syndicate fees and others that pay green fees for the golf game thing over the course of the year in that region and they are most certainly not middle class. Let's face it, a Premier league ST is going to be in excess of that.
Probably best that you don't get a peerage because when Bankie and I take over in the upcoming revolution I'm going to have the HOL all taken out and shot. You will however have an important role that will be music based.
I'm going to say this if only for it being one of the greatest recorded live performances on TV ever. I don't think that they recorded anything that doesn't have a place in my life. I loved all their songs in my youth and still do.
With what will inevitably be an even more a financial loss making season than normal due to not having the same revenue stream from the Championship and the impact of Corona, Evans simply cannot have the club prolong playing in Div 3 any longer so if it looks like Lambert isn't up to the job - and clearly its not - then he has to go. He'll go sooner rather than later unless Evans really has lost interest.
I believe that Nathan Jones would have had us playing decent stuff and got us promoted. Right now I'd take anyone irrespective of style to takeover from the serial chancer and get us out of this godforsaken league.
Not sure if you're trolling here Callis. I'm not keen on organised religion or the sway it has in society but knocking down churches is a bit far. These buildings were erected by people in their short lives living in , well , Medieval conditions. They are should also be seen as a testament to the skill and pride of the working class and are the only mark that they left on this planet rather than the paintings and statues of the 'great and good.' Like Brecht said, ' History is not made by great men.'
Tackle the iniquities of religion not its artifacts.
Those sort of racks always strike me as being for people that don't really like music that much.
Anyway, I did exactly what Dubbers did and got my father to make some floor to cieling cases either side of a chimney breast. I've still got loads of CD's lurking about and a spare bedroom full of vinyl.
Well, let's not forget that it was also about ' they come over here taking our jobs'. Thing is, when those jobs became 'available' , due to Corona , in the strong Brexit areas like Lincolnshire and the Fens, err, nobody actually wanted to do them.
I would add to that by saying that in Towns case, because we have a fanbase that travels from outside the immediate area, the trains in are packed and many use supporters coaches which will be a bit of a no go. I tend to travel in by car nowadays with mates who I haven't seen since lockdown. We also have a lot of ageing fans in our demographic make up who would be potentially more at risk if they caught the virus. As you are alluding to, there is a lot more to this than doting fans around the stadium.
