They need to do something crowds have been dismal there for a while. The engagement of younger fans has also been dismal. In the early 2000’s crowds used to be about 6000 but they have struggled badly crowd wise in the last 8 or so years.
It a really good deal on the ST’s but the club is focusing on the academy above everything else and there’s lots of stuff going on there that isn’t good.
They spent a significant amount of Money in Jan for Wycombe and the players have hardly been in squads. Their journey isn’t similar to ours imo, it alll looks good but scratching behind the scenes it’s a club that has lots to do. [Post edited 30 Apr 22:42]

Having to sit in the home end wasn't particularly enjoyable.
Getting to go over to the fans and players at the end when the Cov fans had gone was great though after being behind the goal and not celebrating. |

i wonder if they are picking fights with people they can't win against.
Without being clued up totally on the politics of it all, picking on a wealthy person who i believe owns a paper that backed Trump, might not be the wisest move.
As i said the above might not be totally correct, but im sure i heard Bezos was benefiting from Trump being in power. |

Depends on what you want but Marlow, Thame, Princess Risborough, some of the smaller villages around Wycombe are all nice. I personally wouldn’t want to live in Wycombe but some of the areas around it are very nice.

By the same token, has he managed a club where he had a chance of staying up. We’ve seen how hard it is, does that diminish our thoughts on McKenna?
If some of these managers had a chance at a non promoted team they might do ok. |

A work colleague knows someone who works at Spurs and he’s said
Levy won’t appoint a manager who’s got a relegation on their CV because
of Optics. Whether true or not it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if McKenna is an exception because he’s been at Spurs. I’m dubious either way. |

I would have liked watching the tv series cold like my other half. Having played the games and knowing what was coming in most cases it took jeopardy out of it although it was still very, very good and probably not something that would have watched without playing the games.
Will be interesting to see how the reaction to the 2nd series is after the reaction to the 2nd game.
Love both of the games, with the 1st one my favourite without getting into details. |

When spurs are called 'spursy' it's irrelevant? because as a club they have been like that for 30-40 years?
whether it's 20 years ago, 30 years ago or even 7 years ago, when we've gone down, we haven't gone up straight away. Im not saying we won't this time, but we don't have a track record of bouncing straight back up albeit the times we have gone down are isolated over a longer period of time.
I think we have a good chance, but it's not a given. |

yeah last summer very much felt like the team breaking up and needing a reset. That group had been together for 3/4 years and that always feels like a time to refresh a group.
If we don't get top 6 i would be pretty unhappy. Missing out on the top 2 is a lot easier to do than not. All it takes is a slow start and you are pretty much cooked. Look at Leeds, i would argue they went down with a stronger squad than ours and missed out on auto's with 92 points or whatever it was. |

i can't see Wrexham doing it in the Championship. They are a team of journeymen, who they've thrown decent wages at in league 1 and league 2.
Think they will stay up, but top 6, i would be very surprised, unless they go heavy in the summer market. |
