| News Comment | McCarthy: Performance and Result Which Reflect My Time at Town at 06:37:20
Sorry to barge in on this conversation, but, DirtyOldNodger, the very essence of arrogance is that it is subjective. Surely asking for the other two's perspectives on what was arrogant, them giving you their quotes from the interview and explaining why they deem it arrogant is sufficient an answer? In reference to them 'interpreting it as something else' isn't that all we can do with language? Interpret it? Some will find his comments totally justified, others will find it shading towards the arrogant side to suggest one performance maketh the man! Anyway, rahter than attack each other's views, perhaps we should be celebrating the fact that this could very well be the start of a decent run of performances as we(and the players) get used to this overtly attacking selection! |
| News Comment | Town 3-1 Cardiff City - Match Report at 08:53:52
Firstly, a GREAT confidence boosting win against a decent side, not so long ago playing premiership football. The creativity and chances created yesterday was very promising, hoping we've found a slice of that form we had mid season. Secondly, am I the only one that gets embarrassed by the constant moaning at referees? Even when they aren't that bad? Granted, tonight's sounded like a SHOCKER, but we won! Ignore it! Don''t sink to Fabio's level! Against Bournemouth for example, was there a need to come across as whingy, moany fans when a small and insignificant decision goes against you and to act like spoilt brats in front of the sky cameras with a chorus of undeserved "S*&% Refs! We only get s*$% Refs!" Anyway, great for Skuse to get on the scoresheet, and with such a belter too! He'll start banging them in from now on! |

Another playmaking midfielder who can create chances for Sears and company would be an exciting prospect. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Sears Will Be Pushing to Start at 08:04:06
If he's managed to fire when the rest of the Colchester squad haven't been, with some improved midfield support and perhaps a new playmaker, he may well just surpass those ten league goals Ol' Micky Ol' Pal! |
| News Comment | Sears Couldn't Wait to Join Town at 08:01:44
Start as you mean to go on. Nice little impact sub. Deft touch for the assist. Could be a little legend in the making. No gripes with this signing whatsoever. Shrewd. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Exciting Time for Town Fans at 13:42:46
Keaneish - I believe there was some 2-3k tickets given to local sports clubs/schools etc. before Saturday's game, so most of the additional attendance would have been from that. Either way, extra support shouldn't be sniffed at! it can only have two positive effects in my mind income for the club and motivation for the players! |

Another 90 minutes, another failure to find the net from chops. Sign up Veseli, can the South African play DM? |
| News Comment | Ex-Manchester United Man Trained With Town at 12:45:51
I'd take him, IF he is as good as he turns out on FM2012... In all seriousness though, I like solid Swiss centre halves. I'd take a Philip Senderos/Stephane Henchoz type player any day. Anyone know how tall Veseli is? |
| News Comment | Cardiff Aware of \"Threatened\" Chopra\'s Problems at 12:40:19
Guys, i cant be there on Saturday but Chops needs our help and i expect everyone to be giving him the support he needs. This guy can be the difference between us getting promoted (via playoffs or otherwise) so it is in ALL of our interests to get right behind him and show him that we care. North standers, get some songs going (positive of course) and let's see if responds and starts banging them in again! |
