I imagine it works in our favour to let him go. If we give him another year we might not be able to sell him then have to spend money settling his contract. I doubt he'll be offered as much elsewhere as we paid him, so even if we did sell him after extending his contract, if he didn't request a move we might have to cover some of his wages. Or there might be something in there that says he gets a pay rise if we extend. I highly doubt we're doing this just for his benefit. With someone young like Baggott, the wages will be a lot lower, so it's less of a gamble to extend his contract. |

I'd imagine the number of tickets going to 30+ will increase throughout the season as more people earn points. By the end of the season I'd imagine it won't be far off 100% |
 | Forum Thread | Marcelo Flores at 01:05 11 Oct 2024
According to the Guardian we were in for Flores this summer. I don't remember hearing this before. From their Next Generation article: October 2024 update Became a fundamental part of the Tigres first team last season, scoring six goals in 25 appearances before Ipswich Town tested the waters with a bid for the midfielder in the closing days of this summer’s transfer window. Flores had been at Portman Road before joining Arsenal in 2019, but Tigres held firm in their desire not to sell their young star, who was an unused sub in all three of Mexico's 2024 Copa América matches. His younger sister, Tatiana, joined Tigres on loan from Chelsea in June. |
 | Forum Thread | London Pub for Coventry at 12:39 29 Apr 2024
Hi, does anyone know if the supporters club are going to the Brondes Age in Camden again? Or know if any other pub, that's fairly central, will have the sound on for our game instead of the Champions League game and have a few fans in there to give it some atmosphere? Thanks |

Interesting. Against the top 8 we're averaging about a point a game, from 9th to 18th we beat them all and bottom four is 2 points a game. So we're gong to end up with 99 points. One more than last year! |
 | Forum Reply | Ifollow "pause" question at 16:01 2 Nov 2021
Don't think so. I paused it for 20 mins once and the broadcast stopped about 15 mins after the game so I missed the last 5 mins. There's a free replay available at some point after the game, although that might be the next day. |

Down to fourth! â˜¹ï¸ Although with Ward back in the team we could be back to top spot by the end of the season. [Post edited 28 Mar 2021 20:31]

Not that unlikely given their form. And that would be five clean sheets in Feb, three wins, just one defeat. That could be worth a manager of the month nomination! That would be top trolling by the EFL. [Post edited 23 Feb 2021 22:28]

Norwood is back in full training and scoring more wonder goals. Must mean he'll be at least on bench on Saturday. Edwards is out on the grass again, which means he can't be too far away, maybe bench for the weekend Teddy is doing a fair amount of gym work so hopefully not that far away, maybe a couple of weeks. |

Not sure I really had a point. Just thought people might find it interesting, wasn't expecting a 7 pager! Peterborough stand out to me, load the team with 24-25 year olds, if a few really kick on then they can make a lot of money on those. We've got most minutes for players around 28, where they should really be at thier prime but with less potential for improvement and so lower potential fees. Not saying Posh have it right, they certainly make money but have been stuck in league 1 for a while. |

If everyone was fully fit he struggles to get on the bench, but if he was fully fit at the moment I'd imagine Lambert would have him very near the first team possibly ahead of McGavin, at least on the bench though. |

I think it shows that other teams are relying on kids as back up, where as we don't need to unless we want to. I can't see it moving significantly, we've got younger players to come back in sure, bit also the likes of Norwood and maybe skuse which will counter that. |

Playing Colchester U23s for our U23s or playing Colchester 1st team for a league two team? I'm going to go with the second option being more beneficial |
