Heard a rumour- no more than that - that Sam is injured, arm fracture. Hope not true for him and us. |

I’ve seen Humphrey’s a few times but that was a few years back now. Seemed competent and was clearly liked by the other players. Think he’s played for a stretch of games due to a bit of an injury crisis. Not seen him play on loan, wasn’t he their player of season last year? |

I met Syd on numerous occasions when autograph hunting as a kid. He was always courteous and chatty when Gloucestershire played the festival circuit in Gloucester and Cheltenham where the players just used to wander round and mingle with the crowd, not quite the same nowadays. |

Good player, someone who looked to go forward as opposed to sideways. It's the right thing to do to let him go and not hold on and try to get a minimal fee, its the Ipswich way, treat people decently. |
