Perhaps an odd "favourite" not being a win but Hull last week was a great game, atmosphere and thought both teams played really well. I think a few of us were still shattered at Coventry from that trip. |

Work with some Cov fans who said some of there's weren't happy about this either, said empty seats where the away fans were and blamed the quieter atmosphere for the Preston loss. Been mixed since. |

If we had a large demand not sure why there was a large empty block in the corner (just to the left in the photo), could they not of sold that to their own and we took the rest behind the goal? |

Agree with the above but also thought one that went slightly under the radar was TJJ in the sun at Shrewsbury. After squeaking through at Burton it was the first time thought we might be on to something here…. |
| Forum Reply | Midweek travel advice from Cambridge at 20:23 22 Nov 2023
Many thanks all, seems pretty clear that I won't have time to mess about with trains on the way in and more importantly need to get out early. Much appreciated. |
| Forum Thread | Midweek travel advice from Cambridge at 18:47 22 Nov 2023
Whilst its relatively quiet would be grateful for some travel advice. I don’t get to many home games but next week I’m on a course near Cambridge and hopefully leaving (by car) just before 6 to get to the Millwall game. Would prefer to train it but looks like options back are limited as no later trains afterwards except a couple to Stowmarket? Do people travelling from Cambridge direction generally find it a better option to dump the car in Stowmarket and train it rather than going straight through and trying to get a spot in Ipswich? Or would it be a struggle at that time? Any help most appreciated, thanks. |

Most impressive with all the perimeter facilities and nice away fans Guinness bar. Huddersfield fan facilities manager would do well to have an educational away day. |

Used to go a few years back, biggest problem then was how late matches would get switched for TV - don't know if the same now but back then you needed to book hotels Fri - Mon as the day was often switched in the week leading up to the game. |

Thought the same earlier, from what I could find appears it’s all league games inclusive only so a booking Saturday wouldn’t work for Wolves and reset the count. Guess others have played the system previously and now been stopped. [Post edited 20 Sep 2023 16:14]

Sutton's nice, just close your eyes as you go through Erdington on your way into the city. |

Sorry might be a bit late but if you do get let down the B4 car park at Colmore Row is decent, the Clean Air charge only applies for petrol vehicles over about 15 years old (about 5 for diesels). No Park & Ride, big spate of mobile phone thefts at Gig's in Brum where organised gangs regularly target the big gigs with large standing areas coming out with dozens. Welcome to Brum. |

I'm in a similar position, little bit disappointed when Fleetwood came around as had been to 10+ away games, understood Gold members with 10+ away games getting in the queue first but then 2nd sales phase was Gold members who hadn't reached 10+ (was 8+ to qualify) so missed out, fully understand can't please everyone in these heady days so perhaps some ideas as mentioned could be considered - maybe a lottery for a small allocation of those who hit the thresholds? |

Obviously it was all done by post then and my hazy memory is you had to send in to the club the actual stubs from matches attended as proof? That season I'd not been able to go to many matches so sent in a bundle from the previous season just hoping......still remember opening the envelope in the hallway a few days later expecting a letter "...I'm afraid...we're sorry to say....etc", as I opened it saw a small shiny metallic strip and "Wemb" on a bit of card, was like a scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. |

Could hold back say 10% of allocation for a random ballot of those who rarely attend and wouldn't qualify. Remaining large majority of tickets for those who do attend regularly though maybe some weighting for attendance at less attractive fixtures so more points if you go to Stoke (well Port Vale) on a wet Tuesday night as opposed to Cambridge. |

| Forum Reply | Booking / Ryanair... at 13:40 20 May 2020
I had 11 flights and 6 hotels separately booked for the Euros, a few bits that might help from what I've picked up from all the fun and games I've been having:- All the airlines are handling this completely differently and many change their policies almost daily. For instance Lufthansa were saying you can cancel and have a voucher valid until March next year and can apply for this voucher months after your original flight was due to depart. Now its fly until the end of 2021 but you must arrange it before your original flight date or lose everything. Of course you have to find this out yourself. Ryanair have at times been sneaky in that bookings still showed as live and operating in a customers account so people of course not wanting to travel could only change flights for a fee or cancel and lose everything. However search for the same flight as a new flight and it showed as "sold out" - obviously not sold out as nobody travelling, all other flights on similar dates showing sold out as well - so why show it as sold out and not cancelled? Because then the customer automatically gets a refund / voucher and if Ryanair holds off with the official cancellation the customer might blink first - so seems best to hold off as long as you can until the airline cancels. Hotels - I didn't realise but a lot of hotels across Europe are still open - they may not have many people in but if they're open and you've paid upfront for a non changeable / non refundable booking they have no obligation to refund or change - they've offered the service and not their fault you didn't turn up. You may be covered by insurance (my wonderful policy didn't cover any of this) but best advice I can give is email them very nicely and ask what they can do - don't demand anything but just ask what the position is if you can't travel in light of current circs. Most of mine have met halfway and offered to shift the booking free of charge within the next 12 months some have refunded fully when they didn't have to. And if you booked through an agent they will generally just quote terms and conditions, email the hotel itself directly. Good luck. [Post edited 20 May 2020 13:42]

Cross Country trains don't usually sell advance ticket fares as the trains are so packed so might add a few quid on. Not sure if any local train operators. Shuttle bus a few quid, worth it for some of the sights on the return trip alone..... |
