| News Comment | Harris Applies For Town Job at 14:23:02
Harris did well at Millwall and Cardiff. The Cardiff lads I know say he was a top bloke who bought in some excellent players, Kieffer Moore for one, and got them Playing decent football after Warnock. They had a small squad and when Kieffer was out they struggled and he lost his job. Let's be honest after the on field shambles of the last 9 months the only way is up. Whoever gets the job needs all the fans on board from day one. |
| News Comment | Greene King Launch 81 Pilsner for Beattie's as Contract Extended at 14:23:55
Beatie Pilsner sounds superb - wish it was at every bar though. As for Carling replacing fosters I give up. Of all the decent lagers we replace a rubbish one with another rubbish one. I bet this was Paul Hursts last thing he approved before he left. |
| News Comment | No Cash Turnstiles at Home Games at 22:33:11
Have people read the article ? If you make a last minute decision to go to an ipswich game and don't have a ticket you walk to the ground, go to the ticket office, buy a ticket and watch the game. What's the big deal ? How does this deter a fan. It probably adds 5 minutes to your day out. I am far more concerned that the lager in the ground will still be fosters. Please announce a change soon |
| News Comment | Adkins: Keane Contract Option to Be Discussed at End of Season at 18:31:27
26 years old and played less than 100 games. Sorry but with his injury record it's just not the sort of signing we can be making. We need two old fashioned goal scorers who put the ball in the net. They are out there......somewhere |
| News Comment | Lankester Out for a Few Weeks as Huws Suffers Setback at 07:35:41
Gutted for Huws. The poor lad has played leas than 100 games in his career which for a 25 year old is not many at all. I just can't see us getting him out on the pitch for a good run of games but I hope I am wrong. He would boss the midfield in league one with Skuse. |
| News Comment | Strict Conditions for Town Fans at Norwich at 22:08:23
So because ten or so out of 2,000 decide to misbehave they treat us all like criminals and we pay £40 for the privilege !!!!! It's a game of football for crying out loud. Get tough with the wrong uns and let the rest of us enjoy our day out. |
| News Comment | Hurst: Both Goals Were Very Avoidable at 22:33:50
These comments are embarrassing - call yourself supporters. It's September and he's had 7 league games and one transfer window yet you are writing him off. Shameful |
| News Comment | Hurst: Adeyemi Will Have to Grit his Teeth and Get on With It at 17:57:36
Hurst comes across as a thoroughly decent bloke and I am sure he will know when an arm around the shoulder is needed as opposed to some harsh reality. Seems it all got a bit too easy at Ipswich for a few and change was desperately needed. I for one am loving the honesty from our new boss. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Tuesday's Atmosphere Was a Disgrace at 17:24:03
Good interview Mick and I agree, the atmosphere on Tuesday was a joke. Regardless of events on and off the pitch the sarcastic cheering of passes was embarrassing and I was ashamed. I am no prude, I understand frustrations but that was too much. |

| News Comment | Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and West Brom Linked With Blues Boss at 20:25:52
Hope there is no truth in this as would love Mick to stay. With a bit of money and some luck with injuries we are more than capable. If he does go though I can't wait to see these 6k ex season ticket holders suddenly return. As if, we all know they'll find some other excuse not to support their team. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: I'll Finish My Contract and See What Happens at 01:51:01
The comments on here are priceless - some really don't have a clue. Mick keeps us competitive on a shoe String yet you all mock behind your keyboards. How many of you will be at Burton with me and my Sons cheering on the team? |
| News Comment | McCarthy: I Can't Make People Come to Games, I Can Only Try to Affect Results at 17:46:04
Blue and true - I was joking. The Keane and Jewell years were the most unhappy of my 36 years as a town fan. I am a fan of Mick and last season aside I have enjoyed his tenure. I like the players he has bought in and the straight talking. In my opinion and based on my group of friends the thing keeping people away is the cost of tickets. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: I Can't Make People Come to Games, I Can Only Try to Affect Results at 13:33:38
Crowds are down because its too expensive. If you are a town fan, and don't have other commitments then you will be at Portman road on a Saturday afternoon regardless of the type of footy we play if tickets are £20. I was there home and away under Duncan and the footy was awful but it was a relatively cheap day out and we went with zero expectation and didn't over analyze it. |
| News Comment | Rangers Striker Waghorn Set to Join Blues at 05:52:40
Not sure how Mick keeps his signings so secretive in this modern day. Incredible. Anyway a good signing with goals in him. Welcome aboard Mr Waghorn |
