 | News Comment | Premier League Poster Boys at 11:33:22
Love that the posters are now also on the front of the programmes. Got a real buzz when I picked up my programme and saw that - just another sign of the club getting things so right off the pitch (as well as on it of course). And Flower Mountains on the cover! It’s the details… |
 | News Comment | PA Man Murphy Steps Down at 12:53:28
If he didn’t already have an MBE I think he’d deserve one for the way he very politely asked the crowd, about twenty times, to leave the pitch after Huddersfield. A top fella and Ipswich through and through, I wish Mark Murphy all the very best and thank him for being so entertaining on the mic. And the sub for Leeds is… |
 | News Comment | Academy Manager Wright Leaves Town at 13:44:36
ArnieM, HK Tractor Boy, I’m sure you’re right and thinking it through Sone doesn’t have the experience or badges for the top job. I’d love it though if he stayed at the club in a meaningful capacity - feels like he’s got so much to pass on to others and is obviously held in high esteem by KMcK and the first team squad. Interesting to see who they go for and what experience they bring. I watched THAT academy goal that’s on YouTube again the other day (I think Harry Clarke ended the move) and felt like I could have been watching the first team in the way they played out from the back. Clarke obviously made it from that academy team but I wonder what happened to the others? |

Lovely fella and a massive influence on and off the pitch. Wish you all the best Sone and thanks for all you've done for ITFC. |
 | News Comment | Season Tickets Sell Out at 13:51:35
Hopefully the trial ST seat resale will become a permanent thing so that if ST holders can't make a game, they can sell their seat for that particular game. It would help to fill any otherwise potentially empty seats. I think Brentford brought in a system where if a ST holder failed to fill their seat for four games (ie if they'd fail to sell it through their resale system) they'd lose their ST - they obviously had a problem with people buying STs just to use them for the games against Man City, Arsenal etc. |
 | News Comment | Luongo: A Great Day at 10:12:53
I thought Mass was brilliant yesterday and a close runner for man of the match. Fought for every ball, moved the ball quickly, and was unlucky not to score with an audacious Chaplin-like lob from near the halfway line. Brilliant performance from him. |
 | News Comment | Ashton: We Won't Execute Cobbold Stand Plan Until the Time is Right at 13:57:55
I'm guessing that away fans would move to the lower SAR with the space created from knocking down Staples divided to allow for segregated home and away access and with away fans perhaps in the end of the stand nearest the tunnel and therefore nearest the station? The section of road behind the Cobbold could be diverted to allow for a bigger stand but still servicing the car park/giving emergency access etc - but with the car park over time being developed to make a better connection with the town centre. Only a guess though. |
