I'm very sorry to hear that your son was attacked. Did the perpetrator plead guilty? If so, 10 months is still a disgrace.

All very true, however for the sake of balance, I should point out that successive governments, including Labour and the Conservative/Lib-Dem coalition persistently decreased the criminal (and civil/family) justice budget, resulting in today's broken system. Governments of all political persuasions have got away with it for decades because the public have allowed them to do so - it's not a vote-winner and much easier to blame the "fat cat legal aid lawyers bleeding the system dry" (yeah, right!) There is hope that Kier Starmer might do something to arrest the slide, but I'm not holding my breath.

You missed the most important one:

EFL announce that Leicester, Leeds and Southampton all receive immediate 10 point deductions due to squandering their parachute money. Same penalty but doubled for Norwich.

If we do meet them in the play-offs, I don't see us playing as badly again and I don't think they're capable of playing any better against us. This isn't sour grapes - we all know we can play much better, but they seem to set up very defensively and I don't know whether they are capable of changing their approach if required. In fact, I'll go so far as saying now that we wouldn't lose at their place and there's a good chance of winning comfortably at home.

There are some absolute gems in there, including "on comes poor man's firmino" (the twot went awol after Jeremy's winner) and loads of "wait for it" as the game reached time added on. But this is my favourite post-match analysis:

"The equaliser was a first time pot shot out of nothing and the winner looked like more of a breakdance than a recognised footballing manoeuvre."

Two wins out of two over Easter plus they were very poor -v- Leicester. Let them worry about us.

On the contrary my friend. Clearly, all we need to do is hope they win every game. We've spent the past few weeks hoping they'd lose and the b@stards would end up winning. Today we wanted them to win and they were defeated comfortably.

Simples!

Replay the singing of Hey Jude just before kick-off-v- Exeter at home last season (including Clarke looking at the North Stand in awe) then tell me that was dross.

Take the 3pts, performances are secondary this time of the season
at 13:26 30 Mar 2024

I didn't note all of the subs, but was anyone left out of the squad who could have been there instead? Failing that, one of the U23s? Surely he was there because he was considered fit enough to play a part?

There wasn't really an alternative was there? Perhaps Jackson on another day, but with Hutch getting little change out of their full-back, I think it was better that he went on the wing. I wondered whether Sarmiento could have replaced Moore, but Broady looked cooked as well. Frimley has a point about Al-Hamadi's pressing, it was noticeably less intense than a month or so ago, but he must be considered fit enough for the bench, otherwise he wouldn't have been put there.

That's right, although I do recall that for a few seasons in the late 70's/early 80's, ITV (MotW) swapped its schedule with BBC (MotD), so that, in alternate years, ITV was on Saturday night and BBC was on Sunday early afternoon. It didn't work out though and they soon changed it back to their regular slots.
