 | News Comment | Town Request Additional MK Dons Allocation at 17:28:07
Our away support really has been remarkable over the years. My first experience was the 73 Texaco cup final at our rivals ground. Between 12-15,000Town fans were estimated to have travelled and I certainly have happy memories celebrating with the masses on the pitch as Mick Mills held aloft the trophy. Can imagine how angry I'd have been if it was the other way around at Portman Road!! Next up, was the 75 semi final at Villa Park when 25,000 of the blue army had the all terraced Holte End. My last away game was the EUFA cup game in Milan with up to 10,000 making the mid week trip but really doesn't compare to the other two that I've mentioned for enjoyment as the Italian police made it as unpleasant as they could! |

I remember getting his autograph a few times after the weekly training sessions behind the west stand. My condolences to his family. |
 | News Comment | Former Town Boss Duncan Dies at 17:31:21
Sad news and condolences to his family. I watched most of the home games and a few away during his time in charge at Ipswich. |

Hope all's well with him as he seemed to be enjoying the position. I was an old school friend of his father Charlie way back when..! |
 | News Comment | Former Wing-Half Fletcher Dies at 21:00:44
Len and his wife used to have a cards night with my parents back in the 80/90s and they both passed away mid 90s. I had no idea Len was still around till reading this. RIP. |
 | News Comment | Former Defender Bolton Dies at 16:19:48
He signed my autograph books a few times back in the days when you could walk into Portman road and watch the training sessions. Sad news. |
 | News Comment | Former Blues Midfielder Kellard Dies at 21:24:39
I'm a 11/12 year old kid pestering the heck out of Town players for their autographs, be it during training days down at the old Portman Road mid week pitch or match days. I must have collected a hundred plus Bobby Kellard autographs during his short stay and every one were the perfect straight easy to read signatures... well that's what i remember of Bobby. RIP |
 | News Comment | Club Patron Hope-Cobbold Dies at 23:39:45
Sad news and to think there's no longer a Cobbold name connected to our club! Plus I'm learning through DNA ancestry I have a 'surprising' link to the Cobbold name and I've just been added on their historical family website. |
 | Blog Comment | Marcus on the Spot in Moscow at 21:43:46
I went to this one, sat opposite the mass of Town fans in with the Russians as my mate had a local business connection who bought our tickets and gave us a tour of Moscow! Great memories!! |
 | News Comment | My Best Town XI: Charlie Woods at 20:22:47
Loving these best ex players teams and this is without doubt my favourite so far!! I've watched Woods from his first days as a Town player and along side Bobby through the clubs glory years. I'll totally agree with Charlies choice but so hard to leave out the other greats, perhaps he could be asked to put together a 'Combination league' team |

Thanks for bringing back great memories . I was there, also as a 13 year old standing in a packed Barclay End. Pretty certain I can recall a 'few' scuffles breaking out at the back and a line of officers keeping the boys apart. |

Also there for his debut as a young teenager. Did one of his goals come off the underside of the bar north stand end or is my memory playing tricks? Another of my all time favourite Town players. |

Excellent read, thanks. Certainly one of Towns legends as far as I;m concerned. Yes I was there as a young teenager when a section of the crowd called for Robsons head and remember it well, thank god for the Cobbolds! I never realized that was Hunters last apperance for Town as I was there at Shrewsbury for that cup game. Another memory is him and Franny Lee going at it for most of the game at home to Derby and Lee coming off worse and 'asked' to be substituted. |
