 | News Comment | It’s a Big Learning Curve Isn’t it, Frank? - Notes for Derby County at 15:28:46
Could be a good amount of room for Nolan and Edwards if the midfield isnt tracking back. They had quite a bit of space against Villa on Saturday and had some really nice touches at times. Nervous about this one. There is so much quality in that Derby squad not to be. We did show we can handle quality (Grealish didnt really get a sniff) but still. I'd take a point here but this may be a good time to play them while Frank tries to find his style and formation. COYB! |

I know someone who has always been a spurs fan since i knew him but this year and last has suddenly professed to being a Bournemouth fan as well.... I mean, when? Why? How? How is it possible to support 2 teams like that. Yeah sure i have an American football team (Colts) and i have a soccer team (Sounders) but not in the same league/country. Not possible!! It is however easy to wind him up. When he went on a rant about how gutted he was to miss out on winning the league i just commeneted that i thought Bournemouth finished in the lower half of the league. And vice versa. Good fun! |
 | News Comment | Ticket Promotion at Rotherham Match at 17:38:33
Agree in practice happybeingblue but if you make them cheap every game or for every old schmuck then you devalue the loyalty shown by season ticket holders and stuff. They are the life blood of the home games and deserve more credit than the rest of us because they have to invest a lot of money upfront before weve even kicked a ball. FYI im not a season ticket holder because i live int' midlands these days so im not saying that with tinted specs. Anyway, im sure there will be plenty of ST holders who would happily sort you one if you post in the forum or summit. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Will Be a Big Test for Our Little Run - Notes for Blackburn at 12:36:12
Genius vanmunt. What a depressing little life you must lead when you lower yourself to writing such drivel as that. These are the types of games we need to be winning if we want to get out of this league however I feel it will be a 2-2. Rhodes obviously scoring and then a silly goal given away when 2-1 up in the last 5 mins. COYB's regardless of course!! |
 | News Comment | Skuse: Plenty of Positives From Old Trafford Trip at 10:28:15
Hes also hilarious! A few of the interviews hes done hes clearly a massive joker! Agree with Botes here. An excellent attitude to have when missing out on such a big game. Can you imagine any players under Jewell or Keane saying the same? I cant. Big game tomorrow. Hopefully a big crowd in with the ticket offer! COYB's! |
 | News Comment | Knudsen in Provisional Danish Squad at 10:48:05
Mings was awful in his first game away at Reading and look how that turned out! We certainly have a knack of finding young left backs and getting them working for us and I don't see any reason why Knudsen wont be the same! |
 | News Comment | St Andrew’s is a Happy Place to Be Again - Notes for Birmingham at 11:50:42
Absolutely no doubt Chambo is going to have to be bang on it come Friday. Gray is a tricky character and is without doubt one of the best wingers in the league. Hopefully AMN and Fraser give them something to worry about meaning he has to track back more than he wants. If there is a battle to be won with Donaldson as the lone striker I think that CB and TS can more than match them there. |

Ha mills! I meant Newport Pagnell services on the M1! Just north of Milton Keynes! Not the aforementioned location in Wales! |
 | News Comment | Chaplow: Town Spell Gave Me Back My Hunger at 11:08:35
Chaplow maybe wanted more first team football and MM maybe couldn't guarantee that with the signings we made in that position? Agree with what you say though, not seen much of Coke but Chaplow always had something about him. Clear to see that MM only ever looks at bringing top pros in like Hunt and Chappers because they are clearly at the right end of the humble scale! |
 | News Comment | Notes for the New Season - Part Two: Hull City, Rotherham and Huddersfield at 12:05:06
Rotherham have done well there haven't they? Some useful signings on the way in that could move them up to mid table which would be a natural stepping stone for them. Fair play. Top work as ever Harrold. These are an excellent antidote to my summer free of football blues! |
 | News Comment | Notes for the New Season - Part One: Middlesbrough, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday at 10:14:32
Although 300k for McGugan seems a bit low my mate who is a Watford fan does not rate him whatsoever. The words "liability," "only turns up when he fancies it. Usually when its warm and sunny" and "never seen him run or try that hard" are always banded around. Doesn't fit the McCarthy mould for me and weve had our fair share of lazy of those types of players in the last 5 years that I am happy we haven't gone in for him! |
