 | News Comment | [Podcast] Blue Monday - New Podcast Now Online at 10:14:55
The latest Podcast mentions a few strikers Town could possibly sign. Adebayo was one but should not be considered for Town. I saw him several times for Walsall. We are too classy for his style. Definitely a no no. |

Maybe discussing eventually taking over from Gareth. Why not? We, (ITFC), have an excellent track record of producing England managers. |
 | News Comment | Town Sign Rotherham Striker Ladapo at 21:08:20
What a "pest"! Now let us find a couple more "pests" like him. Good left foot, good right foot, good in the air, grafter. What's not to like? |
 | News Comment | Manager Cook Sacked at 08:00:19
Let's be the first club with a female manager. Emma Hayes at Chelsea is a brilliant motivator and coach. Yet another "food for thought"!! 🤔 |
 | News Comment | Manager Cook Sacked at 14:19:55
Not really surprising. He replaced most of our first team squad and a few promising youngsters who, with good coaching, could have been asset's. If it up to you Mr. Ashton, look at a foreign manager. Very few failures come to England. Just a thought. |

Superb article. In my opinion the best centre forward, along with Ray Crawford, ITFC have ever had. I met him at the Etihad a couple of years ago and mentioned an article that had appeared in one of the national newspapers which concentrated on his Arsenal days. He immediately, without me mentioning Town, said "What about Ipswich?" He was very proud of his achievements with us. Truly fabulous player. |

Living in the midlands, as I do, I don't have my "finger on the pulse" as, I guess many of this site's contributors do, but surely getting rid of so many youngsters is not good. We have been "burnt" in the past - Marriot, Webster, Walters, Moore, Lawrence, etc., - perhaps the coach could have spent a season trying to develop some of these outgoing players before offloading them. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-1 Sunderland - Match Report at 22:08:53
According to the BBC website we had 35% possession. 35%!! At home! We are, I believe, relegation candidates. Hate to say it as I have supported Town since the 50's and never seen such poor performances. What to do? Relegation a real possibility. |
 | News Comment | Town Down to Sixth at 22:03:18
Just watched Walsall v Port Vale. Walsall have a forward on loan, 20 years old, on loan from Bournemouth. What a player. He came on as a sub. and caused trouble in the opposition half plus he scored a brilliant goal - watch it on either YouTube or EFL on Quest. Would not cost the earth if anything but definitely an asset. How about it? |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-3 Hull City - Match Report at 22:24:33
I, and I guess all of us, are getting mightily fed up with poor results and performances week after week. We should be aiming for the Premier league and not hoping to stay in League one. Mr Evan's has given a succession of supposedly "good" managers a chance and, in spite of what people might say, spent money. Please get a decent manager in and let him "Manage". Sorry PL but you just don't have it!! |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-0 Wigan Athletic - Match Report at 17:35:56
A few on this site said the midfield was okay. All a matter of opinion but I thought that was our weak point. We were constantly outgunned and out muscled in midfield. Some occasional nice creation but where is the Peter Morris? |
 | News Comment | Newcastle Winger on Trial With Blues at 13:19:58
Terrific article on page 58 of today's (12th) Sun newspaper about our club. Hell of a lot of facts and truth and well worth a look at. Have a read and, if you want a copy, I have a spare. I bought two by mistake!! |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Collins Signing at 17:02:32
After he has rescued us I believe he could be a future Town manager. Terrific signing and up there with Mowbray and DeVos. Watch this space. |
 | News Comment | Trialist Dawkins in U23s Facing Bristol City at 17:35:51
Missed it lonely blue. I guess that's Charlie Adam out of the equation. Pound to a pinch of snuff Crouchie is a no goer too. Oh well, back to the drawing board!! |
 | News Comment | Trialist Dawkins in U23s Facing Bristol City at 15:37:53
I watched Shrewsbury v Stoke City on Saturday. No Charlie Adam and Crouch on the bench. Saw Adam preseason v Walsall. Brilliant in front of the back four and the "go to" guy. Always available to help others out of trouble. Even at his age and if we could afford him he would be a huge asset to Town. Crouch came off the bench and did what Crouch does - became a "pest" to the Shrewsbury defence and scored! Not sure we could afford them but if we could..... |
