Went to watch Leiston the other day and they were still selling rattles in their club shop so I bought one - would it be welcomed to town away games next year if I were to bring it? |

Call me boring but I’d rather we didn’t pitch invade if we had success. It always looks to disappoint the management team as it means the players and coaching staff can’t genuinely celebrate on the pitch as a group after all their hard work. Steve Cooper performer a miracle this season for them and should be able to take in the adoration of his fans on a walk around the pitch but instead he had to sprint into the tunnel and enjoy the success in the changing room. I know emotions get the better of people and last night was momentous for Forest but I’d rather we stayed in the stands - particularly if it was to celebrate a League One success. |

Yeah I watched Sutton v Hartlepool earlier this season and it was very non league esqe in a good way. The tickets bought on the gate were on A4 paper. One burger van, no bar. I have a friend who lives a short walk from the FGR ground in Nailsworth so will probably make a weekend (or midweek) of that one. |

I agree with a lot of early posts on this thread. I promote pronoun use amongst my team but don’t enforce it. I use it on my email signature and have had name badges with it added too. I have told my team the reasons I do it: - to normalise it - to be an ally - to show an attempt to understand For me the normalising bit is the most important. If only people who feel the need to state their pronouns do so then it makes them stand out as different so it needs the support of everyone. I confess I found it a little crazy at first and still do to some extent but it causes me no harm and could really help colleagues feel more comfortable in a time when mental health is being given greater consideration too. On a similar note, I’ve been advised to reduce my use of the word ‘guys’ when referring to my team. This is mainly as it could offend non-binary and gender fluid (of which none in my team identify as). I really struggle with this one as it’s so built into my everyday language and you hear it everyone you go and on TV even. I make a concerted effort to try and say ‘everyone’ but I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to kick the habit. Hatch (he/him) |

Just had a flashback to season tickets before cards. The ticket book in the Premier League years (00/02) were great. In a massive huddle in the old Britannia turnstiles, felt like there were only 4 of them and the queue was in a tiny courtyard which had fans chanting in the anticipation of Man Utd at home and the like. Seem to recall it would say above the turnstiles ‘this is game 18’ or something and then they would rip the Game 18 slip out of your season ticket chequebook. Glorious. |

Cheers MLL. I've been warned against the Sita buses by TripAdvisor forums because they're too popular that time of the year and the locals often cram on apparently. Advice was to ferry hop instead. I had actually seen that restaurant and it looks amazing, will need to try and fit that into the trip somehow. |

Cheers RB. Yes the wider plan is a few days around Pisa, Florence & Bologna before getting the train down to Naples. So this is the end of our trip. We'll have an evening in Naples and then get the train to Pompeii. I've actually been to Pompeii before but my partner hasn't so happy to go again, noting your advice on Herculaneum. I thought we'd then get the train to Sorrento and take on board your Capri suggestions. The next bit of the trip is the tricky part - would be more convenient by car with our luggage but advice seems to be use ferries and buses to avoid parking challenges etc. |

Now the play-off hopes have well and truly gone Ms. Hatch and I are planning an Italian adventure through the middle part of May. We've left ourselves about 4 or 5 days to explore the well-recommended region just south of Naples. I had hoped to hire a convertible car and drive the coastline but sounds like traffic will be a nightmare, along with parking and bus fumes. So the picturesque drive I imagined may not be so great after all. So I'm thinking of using public transport (train/bus to Sorrento via Pompeii from Naples) then seeing how much we can squeeze into 3/4 days along the coast itself. I'm trying to work in Capri, Positano, Amalfi, possibly Ravello and maybe end at Salerno before returning to Naples. What I'm looking for: - Must sees - Must do's - Travel tips - Best locations to book our hotels/airbnbs along the route i.e. best of sunset dining Ta and thank you. |

Cheers. Was there a period of time we were 9th before that? I am trying to find one of those position line graphs for us this season, the sort they used to have in the matchday programme. |

And for the stattos out there - what’s the longest we’ve been in one position (other than bottom)? |

£2.5 e/w on Scheffler (16/1), Hovland (20/1) and Conners (50/1) as the outsider Also £2 on Westwood to win at 160/1 - he deserves to win in one day.... |
 | Forum Thread | Carroll over Bakinson was possibly the difference today at 02:14 3 Apr 2022
Not criticising McKenna for that, or even Carroll. It no doubt had rationale behind it but Carroll looked devoid of any confidence and this may be an exaggeration but it seemed like 80% of his passes were misplaced/intercepted. He stood out in the first half as being off the pace and CM is not a position that can allow average performances. Left the ground about 6pm and saw him leaving in the most statement car of all the players, a Merc G-wagon, and couldn’t help but think it was the antithesis of how little of a statement player he was for us (and has been). Seems a reasonable enough bloke so not trying to slate him, just so disappointed by the impact his underperformance had today. |
