 | News Comment | Hoofball Mick Won’t Win The League - Notes for Derby at 15:13:31
The duel I fear tomorrow is Ibe vs Chambers. This has been borne from the middlesborough away game last season where a quick, tricky winger (Carayol) had his way with poor Chambo. And if Ibe has one of his good days I fear the same may happen. Having said that no-one can fault Luke this season he has been absolutely superb. I back Berra to contain Martin as he'll kick any striker from pillar to post and not let them have a sniff. |

Hopefully it'll be a chance for Cameron Stewart to maybe get a place on the bench and show his qualities if he is called upon. It seems he may have just moved ahead of Henshall in the pecking order for those wide positions. Do we know if he'll be travelling with the squad for the game? |
 | News Comment | The Honeymoon Is Over - Notes For Forest at 12:02:06
Considering Assombalonga alone cost 500 times more than our whole squad you'd expect them to be stronger on paper. Hope those arrogant b*****ds are made to eat their words. |
 | News Comment | It Could Be A Rough Night On Tuesday - Notes for Brighton at 13:32:53
I think 1-1 with us scoring first before Baldock equalises. Frustrating but not a bad point I guess. Although I wouldn't consider our Centre backs immobile so hopefully they can keep up with Brighton's energy. |
 | News Comment | Taylor Starts And Hyam Could Return at Boro at 15:34:19
Have I misread this or does it say Town haven't scored in their last 4 home games? Obviously what I have just written is false thanks to Murphy's goal at the weekend. Any help? |
 | News Comment | Leicester 3-0 Town at 18:33:51
Why oh why is Jay Tabb starting for us?! McCarthy has some deluded idea that Tabby is good, he simply isn;t good enough and hasn't been since Reading away. Nouble? What's the point, I'm not saying he was the problem today but doesn't do enough in the games. GOT GOT GOT to play Taylor next week otherwise McCarthy will surely have some questions to answer should we fail to perform yet again. Green on the right seems pointless ahead of Anderson or even Taylor. SEB not fit enough to start but can still be effective from the bench and hopefully will be fit enough to start by March. Still very much in favour of having MM as manager but he seems to have favourites in the squad (Tabb and Nouble) when better options are available. |
 | News Comment | Town 1-0 Bolton Wanderers at 18:41:38
Was Wordsworth getting subbed off as a result of poor performance or purely tactical? Sounded like he did alright. |
 | News Comment | Doyle Loan Bid Rebuffed at 13:59:23
Why is he looking for another striker and possibly getting rid of Taylor?! Taylor has never had the chance to show how good he is but more often than not he gives us signs of his ability when coming off the bench. So frustrating that the guy never seems to get a look in. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy: Millwall Deserved to Win at 12:52:35
We can't say this wasn't coming. Eventually teams would realise all we do is pump it to Murphy and hope to get to the second ball. Once this doesn't work we are utter s**t with no ideas and a distinct lack of quality. Although you can't just forget Mcarthy's impact here, got to be more patient. You don't go from a relegation scrap team to a play off side overnight. We are FINALLY making progress. But there are a few players that need to be shipped out and better ones brought in. |
 | News Comment | Blues Much-Changed at Preston at 19:08:09
Surprised not to see Taylor out there. His quality could show up, certainly against a 'weaker' opposition |
 | News Comment | Edwards Would Love to Extend Stay at 12:33:57
Wouldn't begrudge a year extension. Could be a useful player filling in here and there. Not a starter but a good presence around the place and can still contribute on the pitch too. |
 | News Comment | Edwards Interesting Wolves at 13:17:28
He has always presented himself in such a good manner and despite not being the most gifted player in the squad has always been 100% committed to the cause. Also giving us a few quality goals over the years, Sheffield Wednesday away and Derby away spring to mind. Been a brilliant servant of the club but it is time for both parties to move on. |
