I'm surprised at this. They have done some good things with cheap tickets etc, however, it's not doing enough because attendances have dropped. I'm possible incorrect, I don't have children. Perhaps a family person could tell me I'm wrong? I'm looking at attendances on this. That's the way to judge the club reaching out to families? |

Oh we are capable. All this recent push has come from creativity in midfield (Williams)... I'm not sure we would quite be in this position without him. The good thing is that we know we are not too far away. Mick will be looking to add a Williams type into the team if we didn't win promotion. This maybe the only thing which was missing prior to the recent serge. I think we are very can able of getting there this season. Seriously....

It's things like this which is one of the reasons we only get 15K each week. Totally ignorant this club is towards looking after fans and community local pride.. Scum have it right!!! Always have. Lowestoft / Beccles / Halesworth / Southwold etc have gone from being 50/50 split to well in favour of Norwich over the last 20 years. Not because of turn coats but because Town fans don't bother going anymore. Norwich reach out the communities / schools / sports clubs etc etc. Even Beccles tennis club get invited to Norwich matches for like £1 a ticket. They have pride in the community. Town fans say we are the same size as scum in terms of support… No f'ing way!!! Our fan base has fizzled out. Theirs has grown. They are much bigger than us now…. Its soooo true. Trust me!!!! |

Very very pleased to read this..... I'm not going to blame Predecessors, however, everything about the structure of this club should be pushed to the very highest quality. The stadium, fan base, youth academy and scouting system is all in place. This club should aim high, not settle for second best. As I said not blaming the predecessors.
Paddy 39 — If that's the case, is that a bad thing? We will get money to strengthen the squad? The academy will feed us in more ways than one. Wickham for example, imagine if we produced 5 players of his quality and we sold them all, think what sort of finance that would give the current manager to spend.

To be fair the automatic renew is what scum do (D/D method). You have to make the effort to cancel not renew which I believe is very clever. I believe many people who are 50/50 about renewing may renew because they forget or can't be bothered to cancel. One of the main reasons for poor attendances and low season ticket holders is simple. The stadium is too big for us. 15K empty seats every week means people will pick and choose games to attend. 2k empty seats means people will purchase a season ticket in case they can't get a seat on the games they wish to attend. I hate to say it scum have been very clever. They know they can't fill 30k every week so why have a 30k stadium. Despite what they tell you, their fan base is no bigger than ours. They purchase season tickets because they don't want to miss out on matches due to the lack of available seats. |
