What we need is a manager who is a talker and a motivator and isnt scared to shout his mouth off when required . I went to the game last night and you could feel the disgust amongst every fan in the Sir Bobby Robson Stand . Only two players in the whole squad stand out for me and thats Taylor and Luongo . The rest showed no passion or desire whatsoever .Since Jewell bought Murphy in we are lumping high balls to him so every Manager knows what to do . There is no plan B . Whats happened to the nice passing football from the first few games of the season . It seems Jewell cannot Motivate anyone and he just sits there lifeless instead of giving instructions to his players . If he cant Motivate the players the crowd cannot as they are watching proper dross !! Do what is best and walk away and become a Pundit as you clearly cannot manage your way out of a paper bag !!! |

Many of you calling for the chop on Jewell and i can agree with you . The CEO and ME are as much to blame as PJ is .Probably more so as they hold the cards to how much we can spend. Honestly though if we sack Jewell whos out there who could do better . Be realistic !! Ill be there Wednesday in the lower Sir Bobby Robson stand . Martin hasn't signed a new contract as yet so what's the betting we pay him off and get the loan deal for boyd and sign in january. I listened to the game on the radio yesterday and we seemed to be playing ok however to win games you have to score goals.I cannot see why when we were 1-0 and pressing for the goal jewell didn't have the balls to stick another one up front. Instead he stuck to 442 and in the end we lost to another defensive hoodoo. If pj doesn't get two cb in the next 15 days I say leave as I've had enough of the excuses. The reason you can't get players in is because we have an owner who is penny pinching and a moron who cudnt find his way out of a paper bag doing the negotiating. |

Jewell needs the financial backing from Evans and Co to spend the money he needs . You are not going to buy quality with a few hundred thousand . We got Loach , Chambers , Hewitt for next to nothing and have Luongo( WHO IS PROVING TO BE QUALITY ) and N Daw (we will see ) on loan . How can the club prove they are showing ambition to other players by spending nothing !!! PJ get on the phone to Mark Hughes and check the availibility of Jay Bothroyd. Centre half a priority too . Smith okay playing againsnt average teams but cannot seem to cope with the better ones . Right back is also an issue . Although Edwards has done ok he gets out of position too often for me and gets foward too much leaving the left side open for attackers to get behind us and ive seen this on more than one occasion!!!! |

This transfer is a head banger. I cannot see why Clough would want to let him leave for free in January when there is money on the table for him.
