For example, in Serbia we protest against Vucic's repressive regime and hijacking of all three legislative, executive and judicial power in the country by a nationalist madman. |

This was probably the main motivation for the owners to buy ME out of the ownership, so he wouldn't try anything lol |

The article unfortunately is very accurate. Journalists that are not supporting Vucic, not even supporting the opposition, just reporting objectively are being arrested and detained without proper cause or justification. There are a few journalists that have been arrested 3 or 4 times already. They are usually let go after few hours, sometimes 24-48h, depends on the events they have to "miss". Some foreign journalists have been banned from entering the country or been deported for "national security reasons". Thank you all for your support! |

Interesting fact about EU - conclusions of the European Council have to be adopted by consensus of all the countries members. Hungary has again prevented that the worrying events in Bosnia and Serbia threaten to destabilize the wider region of the Western Balkans enter the conclusion summary and now all it states is that the "matters have been discussed". Hungary's Orban is of course in direct cooperation with Erdogan, Putin and Vucic. Fact about Serbia - Vucic's government has officially invited Russia to help with the investigation about the incidents in the peaceful protests. So we're basically inviting a warring and freedom oppressing country to help investigate the freedom oppression. |

In the meantime, encouraged by every meeting with foreign officials behind closed doors of course, Vucic announced police will be sent to universities to "clear out the students and professors from the educational institutions they are occupying". This wasn't even done by Milosevic. Even during his worst years of repression, universities still remained out of reach by Milosevic. But Vucic "learned his lessons" while being in that government. |

The most hypocritical thing from EU and NATO is their officials are meeting with Vucic as if nothing is going on and they are openly ignoring the situation. Not commenting it at all. EU has become a complete farce. |

News starting to spread around the world. Appreciate this is far from hottest topics in the world unfortunately but is something that has been ignored by mass media far too long while small group of people continue to destroy the reputation of Serbia. Spread the word, be informed. Thank you. |

Sadly, they now all have Trump's support as well as he's looking to weaken the European Union. |

For some reason, Western media is not covering this very much. At least not until now the biggest protest in the history of Serbia and the latest incident. Latest news are that Earshot NGO confirmed a type of weapon used: |

Give my best to her please. Beside 400+ places across Serbia, protest have been organized in dozens of cities across the world by Serbian expats to raise awareness. Vucic has unfortunately not only repressed Serbia but also aggravated our relations with almost all neighboring countries, especially Bosnia, Croatia, Romania and Kosovo, because of made up threats from outside that enable him to control the media and narrative. |

Thanks, a lot of people is being investigated without just cause, simply for trying to propagate to media etc. Here's one picture that sums it up well - from the protest in Belgrade, "private security" as they are called by the government, standing next to police with a hammer. Police looking the other way. The guardrail you see is in front of the president's palace, btw. They are guarding him. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQQXaEYPrF35zk7a9oHqkitXhLH [Post edited 17 Mar 14:29]

Guardian and BBC have started covering more I think with this last protest when realized how big it will be and since government was placing increasingly aggressive statements towards both internal and external politics (Vucic supports Dodik who is trying to dispute Bosnian constitution etc). Local BBC journalist was standing a dozen yards from me when LRAD was fired, I realized after reading her article. |

Hi all, I don't write or raise topics that often and the only previous time I "asked for attention" was when writing an official letter in the name of Serbian branch of Supporters club back in Marcus Evans days. But now, I feel a personal and human need to write, to try and raise awareness and attention towards the situation in Serbia. Serbia is at a breaking point, sliding into full-blown dictatorship under Aleksandar Vucic, who is copying the playbooks of Putin and Lukashenko - rigging elections, crushing opposition, controlling the media and using force against his own people. Vucic isn’t just another autocrat - he was Minister of Information in Milosevic's regime where he learned valuable lessons from Milosevic's downfall and is now using them to tighten his grip on power. Since November, hundreds of thousands of people have been in the streets, in more than 400 cities, towns and villages across Serbia - protesting against corruption and the regime’s total control over institutions and media. On March 15th more than 400.000 people gathered in Belgrade with 100.000 more from other cities - the biggest protest in the history of Serbia. Protests are lead by students and professors, they carry flowers and pin them to police officers. Against such peaceful protesters in Belgrade city center, in a long and relatively narrow street, as they held 15 minutes of silence - a symbol of dignity and nonviolent protests - Serbian government used an LRAD! Dozens of people were hurt in the issuing stampede. I was there! The Vucic regime’s response to people's nonviolent protest - was a weapon of war. In days before the protest, the Serbian government that is completely controlled by Vucic as president (which is unconstitutional in Serbian law) has illegally: - Suspended Parliament and banned all MPs from attending it. - Canceled all rail and bus transport to Belgrade from multiple cities to prevent people from gathering. - Interfered with road traffic through multiple unannounced roadworks. - Forbidden national radio journalists from working and allowed only selected TV journalists to work. - Forbidden multiple foreign journalists from entering the country. - Expanded the powers of the Belgrade police through an illicit expedited procedure. - Offended multiple international governments, including Germany, France, Romania, Croatia etc. This isn’t just about Serbia - it’s about stopping another dictator before it’s too late. Don’t look away. Try to get informed. Share what’s happening. Stand with us. Thank you. [Post edited 17 Mar 14:15]

One poor game? I watched us every game this season (including the pre-season) and for me he's easily been the most underwhelming signing so far for us. Not casting him aside but he hasn't shown anything to claim a spot so far. That McKenna prefers multiple CBs instead of him at RB tells something as well. |
 | Forum Thread | Is anyone else confused at 16:12 24 Aug 2024
by Delap's constant hitting and pushing people, just blatant fouls, what is his thought process? Can't imagine McK and staff are telling him to do it. Was expecting him to tone it down from preseason but just goes on running into people. |

I would love Alzate, think he would fit in much faster and easier than Cajuste. |
