Agree with alot of the above. Just wrong, on so many levels. Everyone who donated did what they could, some could do nothing, which doesn't make them lesser people, or lesser supporters. The Beat was/is a club legend, and this just makes the whole project elitist. I'm pretty sure it goes against the principles of the Man himself, too. The funding of this project was an ITFC community effort. For me, there should be one name only on that statue, Kevin Beattie! |

Would be good for the atmosphere at the ground if the SAR stand got a bit more vocal, especially when the away team sell out their allocation. Great start to the re-emergence of ITFC. Of course there will be links to the Managers/CEO's past, both know what is needed, and required to get out of this division. A long term project starts at square 1, and square 1 is to get out of this division. Therefore, its horses for courses, and if players arrive knowing some, or all, of the backroom staff, it's a more comfortable move for them. As has been said, the old regime have had ample time and opportunity to be part of this, and those who are good enough, and are prepared to commit to a whole new level of fitness, desire and commitment, can still be part of it.
