Great signing. Just got a good feeling about this one. McKenna has pursued him above all others and obviously feels he can work with him.
Let'get broadhead in now and raise the bar for the second half of the season. Expect Edwards, Jackson and Adahme will become squad players. Expect Jackson to still be loved by McKenna. Possibly one to go out on loan if Whittaker becomes a possibility. |

This guy is measured in his approach to everything. We struggled on Saturday but McKenna will identify the weaknesses and address them as is needed. For example he threw Davis in at the deep end at Bolton and we were all wondering after that game but he is certainly improving now as demonstrated against Plymouth where he was one of the better performers. |

I am not privy to the ins and outs but this clearly demonstrates that Ashton is not for turning. I don't like young players with promise moving on without getting a fair chance.
However all the signs here are that the agent has a lot to answer for and Simpson is far too young to be expected to challenge their recommendaions.

Probably for the best as we will now focus our attention on a striker which is clearly needed to take the pressure off Ladapo.
We must remember Norwood, Pigott and Bonne all left and only one out and out replacement. John-Jules unproven at this level and not sure what he is yet. |

Maybe Downes leaving will do us some good after all. We are currently mid table in the Third division working within a budget. We need all the help we can get and if that means offloading the likes of Penney who was a free transfer in and has not really proven himself , for an upgrade I am all in favour. |
