Clearly PL standards are not mine or any other Town fan. Another inept performance littered with errors from senior players and a complete lack of footballing basics. I am astounded at the comments from PL quite frankly. I dont like calling for a managers head but this farce has gone on long enough.
Team selection of a complete clown. I never expected or assumed promotion but the collapse has been something dreadful to watch week in week out. I will be there again next season but something drastic needs to happen and fast or we may well be looking at L2 not the Championship sadly.
Good away point in crap conditions. Cant agree about the penalty though, six of one half a dozen as Norwood was tugging away at the defender outside the box and he went down too lightly for me in area so correct decision from what I saw on iFollow. Huwes MOM for me. Edwards needs to calm down at bit, appreciate all the effort but he is going to cost us with a red card sooner rather than later i think.
The only way selling for a pittance like 3 million would be tolerated is if the clauses were such that the club profited further down the line when he moves on to the likes of Man Utd for Maguire type money. Other than that then they need to up the bid. Sadly however I think that ME will just take what ever is offered.
Why do we always seem to sign sick note players. KVY and Norwood seem to fit that category sadly. Or is it that we do not look after them properly?. McGoldrick could not string five games in a row for Town before ending up on the treatment table. Signs for Sheffield Utd and hasn't had so much as a runny nose since !.
Whilst you can see how easily it is for any club that is badly run to fall into trouble and feel some sympathy, On Saturday we have to turn up and be uber professional, show no sympathy what so ever and put out our strongest side and give their under 18's a good hammering. Three points and move on. I hope PL does not alter the team because they have a young side out. We should easily be putting 4 or 5 past them.
Glad that one is over, so pleased for the win but for god sake do not play 1 up front again, at least not with Norwood as he just isn't that kind of striker. Do not wait so long to realise you've made a tactical mistake as better sides would have been well out of sight. That said, if that is the kind of entertainment you get from lower league football then I am all for it. You can stick VAR and all that nonsense where the sun does not shine. Just imagine the pain if Jackson's winner was over analysed over in Stockley Park and we had to wait five minutes to see if they could find a shoe lace that was offside in the build up !!! #COYB #ITFC
I wish him well as I would any Town signing but i cant help feel this is a slight panic (no one else available) kind of signing. I hope he does well but fear he will spend more time on the physio bench than the pitch (Prove me wrong please !!)
@Saxonblue74 - Its definitely a plan considering the excellent strike ! . Col U Fans rate him very highly it seems. Goal scoring Full Backs, not had too many over the years. Wilnis vs Man Utd was one of my favourite goals.
Ah yes, remember it well. Got invited round to my mates house for the match and some cold ones. Scored first and lost 7-1 ...... Hmmm time for the lads to do us all a favour and exorcise that one i think. Prediction is 1-3 with Lord Norwood getting his first of many. #COYB #ITFC
Totally agree, I suspect a great showing tonight and he will get a run in the first team. Holy has been close to a couple of clangers so far and it wont be long before it counts against us. From what I have seen of both keepers to date then Norris would be my preferred option between the sticks.
Also they were so lacking in fitness compared to the lads that play today its beggars belief that we feel the need to wrap them in cotton wool nowadays. Also I bet most of them were out on the lash the night before most of those 66 games as well !!
