Luongo: We've Got to Stick With It
at 13:06:26

The first two goals should not have stood and had VAR been in operation they would have been chalked off. That aside, we were very poor first half, I dont know where McKenna gets his "We were not far off it first half" from ? - Miles off it would have been more accurate. Second half was much better but too little too late sadly. If Moore does not start up top against the Baggies I will be gobsmacked. Were still in a great position though but I fear that the lack of defensive signings will eventually cost us.

Striker Remains Priority For Town on Deadline Day
at 12:23:44

Bournemouth agree loan for striker Unal
Latest from Sky Sports News' Mark McAdam:

Bournemouth have agreed a loan deal with Getafe for striker Enes Unal, subject to a medical.

The deal is an initial loan with an obligation to buy for £13.3m (€16.5m).

The 26-year-old is having his medical today in Madrid and this could be a significant move for them.

This does not mean Bournemouth are losing striker Dominic Solanke today, it means they are strengthening.

Unal’s arrival will now see Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore heading out on loan with a number of championship clubs interested. Ipswich are currently at the front of the queue.

Jackson: Ipswich Interest Head-Turning For Al-Hamadi
at 16:25:29

@churchmans - I totally agree with needing defenders but we also do need a Hirst replacement as we cant score more than one against a team 98 places below us. Been a great season so far but the wheels could easily fall of the tractor if we are not careful.

Leicester City 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 08:53:48

Thought Jackson worked his socks off but is not the answer long term. There must be irons in the fire to let Freddie go to Charlton so hopefully some good news this coming week. My take on the first half was that McKenna knew we couldnt do the 2nd half press for 90 mins so hence the conservative approach. Worked well and the goal was just unfortunate. If there had been some better decision making around the box we would have come away with all three points. Subs and their timing were superb. Good night all round.

McKenna: A Couple of Issues, Nothing Major
at 15:30:12

We already have him, Sarmeinto - Ladapo up front and/or Broadhead with Sarmiento on the wing in their place Is my reconing. Im more concerned about the defence, very lacking in that department of Championship standard.

You can only let him leave if there are definite irons in the fire as a replacement as the CB position is our biggest deficiency not withstanding the injury to Hirst of course.

Shopping In The New Year Sales - Ten Players I Would Happily See at Portman Road This January
at 16:33:18

I suspect McKenna will dip into the loan market at Man UTD and/or Spurs - Joe Hugill springs to mind as a possible loanee. As for Spurs I might take a punt in suggesting Eric Dier possibly, they dont want him and if we could agree something on the wages side, he would be immense in the Championship.

Have to agree with @linkboy13 and say McKenna wont be messing with much. I suspect it will be Freddie up front with Luongo and Taylor in midfield. Depending on fitness, Hutch might come in for Burns and Williams for Clarke. My two penneth for what its worth...Not a lot usually ! :-)

McKenna: Nothing Better Than Getting a Win Against Your Rivals

@robsonwark - Definitely Tuanzebe over the Wolf any day of the week. Wolf has certainly come on leaps and bounds but he is still one trick too many when the simple ball will do and has at least one calamity moment in him most games he plays. We do not need any calamity's against the Nodge.
