Hull City 0-1 Ipswich Town - Player Ratings and Reports
at 21:17 23 Feb 2021

Great win. Hull poor but you can only beat what is in front of you. How we have missed Norwood, not only the goals but his all round tenacity and hold up play. Nsiala MOM for me with a great performance closely followed by Bish and Nors. No bad performances at all, although still not comfortable with Holy in goal. All round great team performance.

Holy - 5

Chambo 7

Nsiala 9

Wilson 7

Kenlock 7

Dozell 6

Bishop 8

Bennetts 7

Parrot 6

Judge 6

Norwood 8

Subs - All grafted well when they came on.

Shocking service considering the money you have to fork out. They could at least get Brenna to say they acknowledge it and are working on it FFS !

The thing that worried me most about Lamberts comments..
at 13:23 2 Aug 2019

Turmoil may have been a bit too strong a word but the point i was trying to make is that it is not good on the eve of the new season for the manager to be slating the Chairman's ability to run the football club and his lack of investment (however true we know that to be) and stating that without the signings there is no chance of promotion. Lets hope the players take no notice and do the business on the pitch or the word turmoil may not have been too far off the mark.

I don't doubt that is what he has said to the players but I bet that was back when he thought he was going to be given the money to buy the three players he obviously thinks we need . Evans has now slammed that door shut and we start the season with club turmoil instead of one full of hope. Has made me very sad

Meltdowns aside;

I was the same until the press conference. There is sadly a big gulf between what PL thinks needs to happen to push Town forward and what ME thinks. That kind of toxic atmosphere wont help us in anyway shape or form. If PL is still in charge by Xmas i will be surprised.

First presser of the season - wow!
at 11:19 2 Aug 2019

When a relationship is strained like it obviously is with PL and ME then it usually only ends up one way. I can honestly see PL jacking it in (Or being sacked) if he does not get the signings he wants. Reading between the lines I think he may well have been promised funds but they have not subsequently been given. A very sad state of affairs it has to be said. ME may well be to blame but who is out there willing to pump in as much as he does to keep the club afloat each year and extra funds for re-building. No one waiting in the wings to my knowledge?. I am not hopeful of either promotion or that we will have the same manager this side of Xmas. Dreadfully disappointing to start the season with the manager and Chairman at obvious loggerheads about what direction the club needs to be going in. ME doesnt even seem to be able to afford a tin of paint to touch up the ground which is in obvious need so god help PL if he thinks any money for players will be made available !

This car crash in Stevenage is horrific
at 19:41 19 Jul 2019

Nasty crash it has to be said but I do get rather wound up by the generalisation that all people that drive nice and/or fast cars are either dick heads or retards . I have driven nothing but performance cars for the last 20 years or so and am not either a dick head or a retard and nor do I have any speeding tickets. I also have an advanced driving licence. We are not all automatically a bell end just because of one idiot that pulls out without looking and causes a crash.

A12 Driving annoyances #34345565
at 15:39 16 May 2019

I felt i had to reply to this (and other comments). There is nothing wrong with doing 70mph in any lane on the motorway should it be safe to do so, but if you sit there deliberately stopping other drivers passing then any form of lane hogging is a criminal offence (Careless Driving) and is punishable by an on the spot £100 fine should the police stop pull you over. The fact another driver may be doing speeds in excess of the national speed limit is their lookout and not one for you to "Police" by not moving lanes. Rule 264 of the Highway Code refers. The rule also states "You should always drive in the left-hand lane when the road ahead is clear. If you are overtaking a number of slow-moving vehicles, you should return to the left-hand lane as soon as you are safely past.” The actual rules aside for one moment, lane hogging at the end of the day is just down right bad driving and also ignorant and incredibly annoying

Six straight away losses, 1 goal scored
at 14:29 6 Feb 2019

I suspect it will come down to how "Up for it" the Nodge are on the day. Teams who, on paper, are the bookies favorites do sometimes not turn up and can come unstuck. I think that may be our only hope that they don't take the game as professionally as they could. Ipswich don't lack effort, just guile and anyone that can score and defend. That said, a cheeky bet on us to win (because life says that it will happen sometime) will be going on the Town come Sunday #COYB #ITFC
