Forecast looking favourable, the morning was the issue and we're through that.

Rubs starting to flow now.

Another classic on the cards.

Got a Newcastle ticket going spare - can’t get down to return it in time as I don’t live in Ipswich.

Can meet at the stadium to exchange.

Let me know if anyone is looking.

House negotiation.
at 09:21 4 Apr 2025

They're highly unlikely to accept your first offer, because they know you'll go higher.

So, if you want to pay £380k then I would start at £375k and negotiate. If you start at £380k they, I imagine, will reject as your first offer and you'll end up at £385k.

I've literally just bought doing the same. On for £365k, probably would have paid it. Went in at £345k and ended up agreeing at £353,500. Knew they had found somewhere they wanted to move to and ended up saying it's all I could go to on my mortgage and gave them basically an ultimatum. They offered less on the property they wanted, got accepted and so they accepted our lower offer.

It's all a game, but ultimately they want to sell and the market isn't flying at the moment so you've got a strong hand.

Absolutely wild that that is the most their crowd have been up for a game. They were awful, other than probably three moments where one of their players waved their arms and they all shouted then sat down again.

Personally, I like what Delap does and did late on. We were flat and needed something to get ourselves going and that could have been it. Just didn't work out.

£40m straight buy back for Delap….

Isn't it the case that Southampton already agreed terms and we had to match them? So not sure we had much negotiation in this at all.

So much pride
at 05:24 25 Jan 2025

Born and raised in Ipswich, but now live in the Midlands. I’ve always taken pride in supporting my boyhood team against all of the glory hunting Premier League fans (my local team here are in League One)

But I’ve never been more proud than seeing my seven year old son bound into school on non-uniform days or into football training wearing his Ipswich kit with pride.

Even at seven the kids still poke fun at Ipswich (all in good spirit). Neither of us could wait to ge to school after the Spurs and Chelsea wins and give it back to his mates (perfectly fine for a 33 year old man to make fun of a seven year old in these circumstances).

Even his football coach, when he first went in his Ipswich kit, said ‘trust me, by the time you’re grown up you won’t support Ipswich any more’.

Obviously, it’s helped that since he’s known football we’ve been absolutely class. Maybe his allegiance will change one day, maybe peer pressure will get too much.

So proud of where we are now as a club.

Just some reflections from a man who is too exited to sleep before setting off to Anfield.

Win, lose or draw
at 05:16 25 Jan 2025

This has been my overall attitude to this season to be honest.

I want us to stay up, obviously. But what a season, with great memories. That Spurs win will live long in the memory and there aren’t many I’ll be in a rush to forget.

An overwhelming feeling of pride watching the boys compete with some of the best, as we have done multiple times this season.

I’ve been to some dire places and seen us get trounced (Bolton 4-1 springs to mind) so, if we do lose, we might as well do it on one of the biggest stages. A stage we deserve to be on.

Head held high and proud to support the Towen.

The best Hong about The Prince Albert as an away pub…

It’s a home pub after the game. Tried to get a beer before the train home, asked if we were away fans obviously said yes as the away pub and told it is now home fans.

Laughable city.

Pride
at 18:10 2 Nov 2024

As the anger and disappointment starts to settle a bit the main feeling I have is pride.

We’re up against some absolute powerhouses - not forgetting the money Leicester have spent in their last spell in the Prem.

I know we have also spent a lot, but we’re bringing through young players who don’t have the Prem experience.

They’re giving their absolute all and but for a couple of decisions or moments which have gone against us we would be in a much more comfortable position.

I hope we can use today’s anger to the officials to propel us on. We spent last year powered by everyone writing us off and we need to channel that again.

As a squad and as a fanbase.

We played well today and I’m proud of this team.

We can do this.

Son is also collecting them, if you want to send through what your son is missing and I can do the same - see if there are any swaps to be done!

Seem to keep paying for packs and he's got them all!

Sunday's Game
at 10:39 24 Sep 2024

I have two tickets for Sunday's game for me and my son but having looked it appears that they are a row apart.

My son is only 7 and even if we're three seats and a row apart, I can't really leave him sat on his own.

Seats are in the Sir Bobby Upper on Rows W and X 154 and 157

Just hoping there are two lovely people out there who wouldn't mind swapping two seats sat together for two very slightly apart? Or two people who maybe aren't going to the game and their seats will be spare?

I've called the ticket office but there isn't anything they can do.

There should be a rule that if your team is a pun of a non-Ipswich player you're removed from the league.

Be creative!

My son (me, obviously) got a Midfield Maestro Wes Burns card today. We were both equally as excited and I'm not ashamed by it at all.

Premier League fever must have hit Ipswich, luckily in Lincoln there is stock everywhere.

ballot news?
at 15:54 25 Jul 2024

Lucky enough to have been successful.

Personally a huge fan of the ballot, means I have the chance to take my son who hasn't been to every game for the past 10 years on account of him being six. I think he should have as much chance as anyone else.

Please can we bottle the feelgood factor
at 14:39 1 May 2024

It's going to be hard to get used to the feeling of losing games and having a lot less of the ball, at least for some games...should we get over the line.

But I'm going to bloody enjoy it.

Football is a money game these days, we're in a better place financially even if we go back down. It's all about our future and building for it.

No doubt the fans will have a huge impact on whether we can rally and stay up.

Considering we are on the verge of an incredible promotion.

Considering the opposition on Saturday.

Can we get a 'walking in a Stewart wonderland' going on the 11th minute? Be incredible for Hudds fans to join in (they don't hate him for leaving, do they?!) and have 30k singing it.

It's commendable how you are continuing to push a point which has no legs, have you considered a career in politics?

It's a horribly elitist view that because you are in circumstances where you can have/can afford a season ticket you should control who else gets a ticket.

Your friends and family could have 'invested' in the club by buying a membership and attending 5+ this season. Almost every game has gone to general sale.

I can't even remotely see your point of view and I think it's an unnecessary benefit that you even get any priority to buy additional tickets over general sale.

Just interesting to understand the views of a ST holder as someone who doesn't live locally so is a bit more challenged in getting tickets.

Thanks for responding sensibly!
