My man of the match is Harness . He has been coached by McKenna into becoming a more versatile player who is able to play in various positions which he was not able to do in the past. This shows how effective the coaching staff has become in improving the players and it will continue to show in the performances. Harness had been allowed to settle into a style of playing that restricted his effectiveness but has now become a more consistent performer. Long may this coaching staff continue. |

I am of the vintage that watched football in the era when there were no substitutes and if a player was injured and had to go off they were forced to play the rest of the game with only 10 men . This is where var gives the upper level teams an advantage for correcting blatant errors.

Finance could be generated by moving out some of the players who are not going to benefit us going forward. To my mind the most obvious of these are Nolan , Jackson and Nsiala . Unfortunately Nsiala is , on past performances, not going to be able to push out any of the current back three as he has not the skill set required. Nolan has been a drag on the team since his arrival as he has never produced anything worthwhile as well as spending so much time on the injured list. Jackson will not have the same output as Pigott, Norwood or Bonne with Simpson coming back next year to supplement them. |

Nolan is a permanent sick note, never going to be able to produce anything worthwhile. Even when he was “ fit “ he didn't produce and has been one of the biggest waste of money and time. Hopefully the inclusion of Nsiala, Nolan and Donacien on the first team listing was a typographical error and when the correct list is issued they will have been removed !
