Appears QPR are facing the loss of top scorer Dykes to the premiership! Where does this take us regarding Bonne?

They were just trying to find a reason anywhere to stop United losing. The game should be replayed as the referee was anything but neutral.

What's happened to Nolan?
at 12:22 10 Jan 2022

With any luck he will be paid off as he has been taking advantage of the situation with regards to the instability and changes at the club. For someone who had taken a slight knock he has spent an enormous amount of time on the injured list. It would appear to me that he has spent more time on the injured list than he has been available to play. Even when he was available to play he did not, in my opinion, offer anything worthwhile. It would be, in my opinion, better for the club to pay him off and open up a place for a player who can add to the team.

Boris renegotiating the Brexit deal

How about the aggressive bad faith from the eec ? I expect to collect a lot more down buttons simply for having a non socialist viewpoint. The problem with this site for anything other than football is it has a deeply ingrained socialist bias and a lack of toleration for anything else. That is only to be expected .

Good thing too. Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom not part of a senseless collection of sovereign states trying to play the part of a powerful game in world politics. They are showing the world their might by arguing about the delivery of sausages and such goods between parts of a sovereign state. With any luck people throughout Europe will come to see they are being treated as a commodity and will eventually break free. The whole situation is shown to be run in a loaded way where one or two countries ( namely Germany and France) try to punish countries for having policies not in line with the rules but avoid the same action when they are breaking the same rules.

Anything in the guardian should be treated with a sackful of salt. Most press rubbish originates with the guardian and I struggle to understand how it manages to survive.

Problem is that the financial wizard responsible for the running of the system has no regard for keeping the system viable so will probably hurriedly concede all the requests made. It is time that the mess called transport for London is brought under sane and sensible control by being removed from the London mayor’s office.

Perhaps if the people in government, here and America, had taken notice of the history of the region this situation would not exist. Going back to the 1800’s it has always been a country impossible to stabilise . After many years of trying at different times in between then and now it has proved to more than just this last attempt to be an impossible task. The saddest part of this is that the decision to withdraw was made.

He would probably benefit from some support and coaching from someone like mick McCarthy who knows a bit about centre back requirements.

Is the Woolf good enough?
at 11:56 28 Jul 2021

Thought he was a little bit casual at times but he showed his game was on a learning curve .
He was more than capable of progressing and becoming a strong player whereas Nsiala has reached his limits. Nsiala is not good enough as a player to be relied on to bring woolfie along. It needs a player like de vos or Mowbray or butcher to bring him on.

Not too bad but I think woolfie is going to be a better pairing with the new boy.

Hopefully this is a parting gift as he is not of the quality necessary. I am beginning to have worries regarding the thinking regarding players being retained and those being told they can move on. It pains me to see that players such as Nsiala, Donacien and Nolan ( players whose arrival were instrumental in accelerating our downwards spiral ) being retained.

You can get the same enjoyment watching the T-20 games. This is a modified version of the T-20 game but with fewer balls available therefore scores will be lower thus lowering the entertainment available. This is just an attempt to raise money with a product of dubious quality and value.

Just seen the squad ins and outs lists

Unfortunately the list is still showing Donacien, Nolan and Nsiala as being retained.
None of the three deserve to be retained but until another club or clubs are prepared, or are conned, into taking them , as we were, they will keep others from the u-23’s back.

When are we going to be able to judge the strength of assembled team? At the present rate of arrivals we are beginning to look as if we have to be reliant on the players retained from last year making good! Seeing names like Nsiala, Nolan and Donacien still listed as “ first team “ does not fill me with much confidence or hope for the future.
