The ref didn’t give either penalties. The Man City awarded penalty was VAR influenced and pressured. That same pressure wasn’t applied when it was time for Ipswich to get a penalty.

We found to our cost last season just how poor a ref Sam Allison is.. he proved it yesterday... Only thing, is this time he had VAR to bail him out.. what that then requires is competent VAR.. and we didn't have that either
