Gutted Leadbitter have left. Now Town really need a quality central midfielder. 2 goalkeepers, 2 Central defenders and a striker. Still positive for next season as I am sure PJ will get some quality added this summer but would have liked a settled midfield for next season with Leadbitter, Drury and Hyam but not to be.
Good luck Leadbitter. I for one thought you were great for Town.

Sign him up and lets finish this season on a high and next season could be very exciting. If Leadbitter goes we will once again have to find a new midfield pair. Hyam / Drury most would say but I do not belive they can do it a whole season. Leadbitter still the best we got.

Leadbitter is playing well and I do not think that is down to him playing for a new contract. He have not got the armband and he is now playing in a flat 4 man midfield which suit him and he is by far the best centre midfielder we got. People say he is not committed. I see it totally different. At the Burnley game he made a great tackle and got a yellow card. I was sitting 2 metres away and anyone who saw his face and gestures against the ref could see his commitment. He shortly after kicks the ball away and gets a second yellow card. Leadbitter only did this because he wanted the win so badly. If he did not care he would not play like he does. Always gives 100 %. PLEASE sign him up. |

Get him signed up. Far better player than people give him credit for. Leadbitter do alot of good thing but 1 bad thing and people are on his back.
Sitting in front of defence and he is the best we got. Hyam work hard but Leadbitter still better. Keep Leadbitter for 2 more seasons - If he will agree Town's terms and then Hyam will be ready to step up a whole season. |
