Hello, I bought a ticket, hoping that my brother would get one too so I could give it to my wife. Sadly he couldn’t get one, and I can’t go on my own as my wife has taken the weekend off work specially :(
So, I have one restricted view ticket for sale - it’s section Y2 row F seat 212.
If by some miracle you could sell me one nearby that would be amazing so I can go with my wife. If not, it’s up for sale at face value £32.25.
EDIT: Sold. I’m also going to sit quietly in the QPR section so I can go with my wife. Hopefully not too controversial!
I was so surprised to see that people weren’t worried about him going to SA. He is by far the most important character in the squad - clearly drives standards and offers the quiet leadership for our young team.
Losing him would be MASSIVE blow in my opinion. Looks unlikely now, thank god!
Anyone know who it’s so bloomin massive? Was it funded by government as some sort of national asset (for rugby WC etc.) because surely the football club didn’t expect to fill it?
Must be so depressing never having got to the upper tier of your own stadium.
P.S. I slightly pity the MK fans - they didn’t choose to steal the club from Wimbledon.
Can anyone explain to me why there are these much discussed financial problems in the championship and not so much in L1? If anything they would be less reliance on gate receipts so I don’t fully understand.
Complete guess but it might be helpful to have someone with a long term view. I imagine it would be difficult to give Ashton such a huge remit on day to day matters and also expect him to carry out bigger picture stuff.
…the media team are isolating. Like me! Apparently you can pay Palace £15 for their friendly bundle but no thanks. The drudgery of isolation continues!
Realistically it’s going to be very difficult for an almost all new team to hit the ground running straight away. I fear that people are already too giddy and people don’t have the patience to wait a few months if we don’t kick on.
I have confidence in the owners that they’ll give Paul at least 6/10 months but just fear the fans don’t have the same sensible approach.
I’m isolating so watched both games. I’m a hardcore county fan but enjoyed it much more than I thought i would. Main thing is great to see the stands full of a variety of people all obviously enjoying it.
It’s a shame the overseas stars aren’t really there but I think it will still be a success.
