as he just missed out on his 50th goal for us, i checked out his first goal for us against wednesday (the one where bonne nicked it from the keeper in injury time). i know it's been said a lot, but we've come so far in such a short time. the fact that so many of the same team are performing in the premier league is such a credit to mckenna and the players. proud.
I'm sure this has been covered before, but I can't find a thread, sorry.
I'm looking to go to one of the friendlies with my 6 year old kid. It will be the first time I've been anywhere outside the North Stand for a long time, so please could somebody tell me if it's worth sticking to the family areas, or if we should just try and get the best possible view we can so they can enjoy the game that way?
He was a great keeper for us when he played, but just doesn't seem to fit any more. If he's not number one here, hopefully he'll get a move to a club where he will be. It just feels like he'll be the first of quite a few players who have helped us get where we are who will be let go as we upgrade.
In some ways I'd be happy for most of last year's team (which doesn't include Walton, obviously) to have a crack at the Prem, even if it's a disaster. On the other hand, I'd also quite like us to stay up...
Sorry for such a random post. We will be taking the ferry back to Holland on Monday night and are looking for somewhere to eat with two young children around 5-6pm. We'll be driving down from Suffolk to Harwich, and ideally would like somewhere in or near Harwich to eat with them. We don't know the area of anyone round there, so I hope the TWTD massive might have a tip or two.
