 | Forum Thread | Championship away tickets price cap at 15:36 28 Jun 2025
This was mentioned in media a few months back that a price cap for away games was close to being agreed, then it all went quiet. Does anyone have an update? Or do I need to fill in my mortgage application when we play at Hillsborough. |

Do we reckon demand for general sale will be lower than this year? I can't imagine people in deck chairs at 5am for say Oxford or Preston tickets. |

I bet it's nailed on that we'll have something like Middlesbrough away on the Saturday followed by a trip to somewhere like Preston on the Tuesday. |

So does this mean for example a 12.30 ko for us at say Blackburn or Preston in November will be determined when the fixtures are released? |
 | Forum Thread | 12.30 kick offs next season at 11:18 8 Jun 2025
As most of you will know, last season 3 games in all 3 divisions kicked off at 12.30. My question is are these games all pre determined when the fixtures are published or do we get screwed over a week before with a fixture change after we've booked hotels and trains etc? [Post edited 8 Jun 11:19]

In the film, there's a fictional "Mr. Clutch Cup" that the character Mike Bassett, a fictional former England manager, wins with Norwich City. May I point out the importance of this part that you missed out. |

It's worth remembering that Mr Lambert had to pick up the pieces of the wreckage after a ' young hungry manager' that some had wanted had departed the scene! |

According to Google search there are still 3600 black and white tv licences in the UK. Surely at £58.50 that's a bargain? |
 | Forum Reply | Divisional trophy winners question at 20:26 21 Apr 2025
Being there on the day I remember it well. My question in part was firstly, why were we not presented with the second division trophy ( not the sponsors one) and secondly what happened to all the divisional trophies? |
 | Forum Thread | Divisional trophy winners question at 19:23 21 Apr 2025
After Leeds won the top flight in 92, before football was invented. The winners of the trophy became the team that effectively won what is now the championship. However, does anyone know what happened to the original trophies for all the other divisional winners? For example their was separate original trophies for each of the division winners. Did the football league decommission the original trophies? [Post edited 21 Apr 19:24]

Agree 100 per cent. Unfortunately train services I guess are used as a political football like most things but what I don't understand is this. Some people don't like flying and I get that, but it's hard to find anyone who doesn't like being on a train. But yet as you say we make it as hard and expensive as possible and it's frickin annoying. Imagine if you could get on a train in Bournemouth after the game last Wednesday night and go all the way to Ipswich non stop, wouldn't that be a challenge but unfortunately it'll never happen. |

I reckon it's a fair bet that our first game back in the championship will be the opening game at 8pm on the Friday night. |

I was at that game on the Sunday morning, 11.30am kick off as we stood on the Holmesdale Road Terrace. Jim Melrose scored twice for Charlton and Steve Mccall with a late reply for town. Charlton stayed up after beating Leeds at Birmingham. |

I can't see the likes of Preston or Blackburn bringing more than about 500 or so down here, in particular as you look at the budgies. They have had 8 12.30 kos this season which will undoubtedly effect crowds. Plus I suspect unless we start like a steam train I guess demand will drop off. In addition I think tickets will stay unchanged for season tickets at least. |

It's worth noting and I may be corrected here, but I believe the budgies have had around 12 fixtures moved this season already and they have had around 8 fixtures at 12.30 on a Saturday. |
