| News Comment | Taylor: Draw Would Have Been a Fair Result at 10:04:28
A draw would not have been a fair result. Absolute garbage! We were woeful. What manager makes 4 changes to a winning team, especially Matheson and Kenlock, who were great going forwards? Such a depressing time to be a Town fan. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Sunderland - Match Report at 10:13:41
I don't get to watch the Town much, so can somebody please explain how Chambers keeps his place in the team? No disrespect to League 1, but he should not be making a basic defending error at this level. He needs tone relegated to a coaching/head of team morale role! |
| News Comment | Lambert: One or Two Will Probably Go Out at 19:36:05
A tactfully constructed way of saying that Hurst was mad to change so much at once and showed his inexperience in doing so. i don't care what the situation was regarding McGoldrick, Garner and Waghorn in the summer - even if all 3 wanted to leave, all 3 should not have been allowed to leave. McGoldrick has gone onto better things so far but not the other 2... |

FinidiCentenary - funniest thing I've read on here since Chambers not signing for Forest! |
| News Comment | Lawrence and Huws in Wales Squad at 18:47:40
Why even report this, it's a non-story. They are no longer our loan players and I could see Huws doing a Feeney on us. Come on Phil and Gav, you're better than this. |
| News Comment | Teddy Named After Dad's Hero at 09:18:44
There is no doubting the magnitude of how important Teddy could be for us this season, especially given the vastly disappointing lack of activity in the transfer market. I am quite worried for the season ahead but am trying to remain optimistic. Our full strength team looks good but the injuries we have seen to Didsy and Teddy in the last 2 years mean that we could be missing arguably our 2 best (definitely most creative) players for large chunks of the season. I am behind Mick and believe we would have finished far lower in the last 3 seasons, so COYB, prove my disappointment wrong and give me a top 6 finish! |
| News Comment | Murph: Freddie's Been Brilliant at 12:57:52
Freddie Sears has proved an amazing piece of business and links up really well with Murph. Surprising that Murph thinks that he may not have still won over all the fans - I'll admit I could've strangled him with that sitter he missed against Brentford and the one against Huddersfield but look at all those wonder goals earlier in the season!! |
| News Comment | Huddersfield 2-1 Town - Match Report at 18:57:35
I've pretty much kept quiet on here all season but I've had enough today!! January 1st we were 2nd and in our best position to get promotion for over 10 years. Yes there's still time to turn it around and I know we've had injuries to key players but we're looking at the prospect of not even finishing in the Top 6 now. Mick saying 'We have to win next 2 home mathches', ain't gonna happen because we can't deal with that sort of pressure. How often have we as fans had this at the end of the season (ok not so much in the last 6 years) but I remember back to the last game of the season when Daren Currie missed a sitter and we blew the play offs. I think the loan players coming in have not been up to scratch. Wood is a disaster, Varney scored today ok but he's not a massive threat and too similar to Murph. Fryers ballsed up today, Chaplow works hard but nothing special and Williams clearly not match fit. I know that ME supported MM in not allowing Didz and Mings leave January but even I am starting to wonder about the Didz situation. I also know that although we haven't signed anyone other than Sears that players wages are where money has gone but we needed to buy better in January. I have pretty much trusted MM all season too but as soon as I saw Wood and Chaplow in the team and Bish and Sears on the bench I feared the worst and I reckon MM realised he's got it wrong when both came on after half time. We've come such a long way since MM took over and I take everything into consideration but if we don't make the play offs, there's a lot of players who need to take a long hard look at themselves and admit they will have ballsed it up for us fans this season. I live in hope, but I really can't see us turning it around now :( |
