Chelsea will not get anywhere near 20m for Hutchinson currently IMO. It’s more likely Chelsea will offer him a new contract - And send him back on loan for a Full season to see how he gets on
Football is a game of opinions so no one is wrong either way.
Davis is not worth 40m - and I’m his biggest fan lol. 20 max IMO
It’s just my opinion that we aren’t going to break the bank and risk FFP down the line. I think we will bring in 2 cracking loans from big clubs - hopefully pick up Omari as a purchase, and get 2/3 others in. I think everyone is under the impression there will be 7/8 new players - but I just don’t see that
If we get our transfer period during the summer, and then January right - we do genuinely have a good chance of staying up I feel
It will be tough - and to start with it may be a Huge shock to us all maybe over the 1st 6 games results wise - but……..
With teams clearly going to get heavily penalised with more points deductions - Everton, Leicester, Forests, possibly Leeds if promoted - we genuinely have a good chance. The news today with forests appeal getting rejected - clearly isn’t going to benefit Leicester as I think they were trying to Use the same reasons that forest did on appeal.
Our owners are never at the front of anything and are happy being in the background. They aren’t Todd Boehly from Chelsea whose on the pitch and in the changing room every game
It was great to see them on Saturday enjoying it - but once again stayed off the pitch etc
All at the game. Mckenna was high fiving them after the game
They all looked absolutely over the moon as you would expect. The bit I liked is. They stayed in the stands. Plenty of owners would have been on the pitch lapping up the attention
I think the time spent with a manager of McKenna’s quality is invaluable to Humps
I do actually feel Gibbs under Mckenna would be a very very very good player / and probably feels right now like he made a wrong decision. At the time though he was Offered more money and a Chance at games in a higher league.
The fact you go back to Keane etc with no mention of others like John Duncan for instance, means your probably in your 30s and watched less games than “returners” overall
