Plymouth's man marking didn't give us the usual time and space to play our passing game. We lacked composure and someone to take on a player or two. Having said that we had the better of the chances.

Very competent defender. I was in the north stand when he badly broke his ankle making a tackle in the penalty area. If I recall rightly (although it was a very long time ago) it was against Man Utd, he gave away a penalty and rather frustratingly it was a perfectly good tackle. I remember seeing his foot at right angles to his leg.

If we'd lost 3 or 4 nil I don't think we could have had any complaints. We didn't create one clear chance other than a Celina run into the box where he blazed well over, but that didn't even make the highlights.
