Really liked Ekwa (DM at Sunderland) in first match of the season.
Rotherham keeper (Johansen?) surely worth a look.
Cambridge Utd right back Liam Bennett is a great little player and a fine prospect. Swap deal for Gassan Ahadme perhaps?
Think that realistically we are looking at 8 or 9 in, and a similar number out. Will need to use the overseas market and the loan market wisely. |

Easter period - The gritty win at Blackburn followed up by the thrilling win over Saints 3 days later obviously springs to mind. I think that is when many of us truly started to believe, helped by Leeds and Leicester also dropping points.
Going back to January, the home win over Sunderland that got us going again, after something like 5 games without a win (and not many goals). We were 1 0 down coming up to half time, then KJ scored a very important and well taken equaliser, and we went on to win pretty comfortably in the second half. |

Really like the look of him. Good against us recently. Great against Leicester yesterday.
Young, two good feet, has potential to further improve. Feels like a McK type player to me.
Was at Naarridge youth academy though. |

My first away trip for a while.
My son's first ever away match.
Planning to stop in at Chorley FC for the Brizzle vs Leicester match at lunchtime.
Staying in Stockport Friday night, to enable some parkrun tourism on Saturday morning.
Optimistic for a win in this one. Bit less certain for Saints on Monday though. |

Clarke is consistently pretty dreadful defensively.
Woolfenden messes up less often, but still a little too much.
If we do manage to go up (big IF) then need some serious money spent on defence and keeper.
Shouldn't matter tonight against the Millers. But can't afford to give better teams such an easy start. See also Preston away. |
