Personally haven't seen enough of him to judge. Don't think he's taking Hirst's starting role any time soon but he's bound to improve with more game time |

And for me more importantly it was a goal scored going on the outside of his man rather than cutting in. If he has that in his locker he'll be a nightmare to mark when he's on it |

Disagree with you personally.
For me he's 4th choice in that role when Wes is back, although I accept your reservations about his fitness. He needs to play regularly to get over his injury and he simply isn't going to do that here |

I think he’s probably got a few games credit in the bank. He will benefit from having a settled 3 behind him. I haven’t seen enough of Azon to know whether he’s going to be an upgrade on GH or not |

I love Chappers, but he’s now a squad player and no more. Remember that the aims of the owners are that we become a stable PL club. Yes we have to get there first, but Chappers won’t be part of that future. It’s up to KM to show that his faith in SS and Akpom is justified |

I wouldn’t say he was up to speed. Felt he disappeared in the second half, because he isn’t yet up to speed. That’s completely understandable given his lack of games.
Based on what I saw yesterday he’ll be excellent once he is as he clearly has the ability to break the lines, which will be critical if we’re going to break down low blocks like yesterday. |

No. He was poor. Very little stuck to hi and when he did try a first time lay off most times it failed. Also missed a glorious chance in the second half 6 yards out.

I’d agree with all of that. The only thing I’d add is that he’s clearly not match sharp yet. I thought he improved as the first half went on and faded badly in the second half. That’s an observation not a criticism because he’s barely played any competitive football.
I saw enough in the first half to think he’ll do a good job for us this season. |

That’s how I see it tbh.
If you’re facing a low block, the last thing you want are wingers who cut in and go into traffic. It’s exactly what the opposition want. I don’t know anything about the Norwegian lad and I’ll reserve judgement on Mcateer, but Wes is the only wide man we have who wants to take his full back on on the outside |

Terrible is OTT imho.
2 draws against difficult sides and a disappointing defeat doesnt equal terrible in my book.

I wonder whether he could be a departure before the window closes.
Assuming the Norwegian boy signs, it looks like he will be third choice for the attacking right sided position behind him and Mcateer. With Wes not being that far off fitness, he could end up being 4th choice.
I think a loan would be beneficial to both parties. He desperately needs to play to build up his fitness and I just don’t see where those minutes are coming from here.
