McCarthy Bemoans Keystone Cops Defending
at 23:42:44

Let's hope tonight's game was a one off, every team has one during the season, really poor performance from everyone and that includes the management.

No Deal Before Deadline
at 22:56:28

Ok this has not been the most exciting transfer window, but I think a lot of people on here have very short memories. We have already signed 2 good players shortly before this transfer window opened with Hunt and SEB. Although free transfers, they still would have cost loads in signing on fees, agent fees, wages etc. ME is still investing in the club but has his hands tied with the FFP rules, we are moving forward, let's get behind the team tomorrow, COYB!

Henderson Close to Loan Return
at 09:00:46

Great news as long as there is no 24 hour recall. I would have preferred us to sign him permanently, but it's obvious that we can't afford his premier league wages. He already has built up a good understanding with the defence, so in a way this is better than bringing in a new keeper who will take a while to settle in. Also there will be a lot of competition to get between the sticks this season and I think Loach will be up for the challenge.

McCarthy: Not Pretty or Sexy But Dogged and Determined
at 18:58:15

The team looked more balanced today, especially down the right hand side, great to have a home win at long last and the team/fans deserved it. Good atmosphere today, the second goal was a superb move, looking forward to seeing that again on the box. And regarding Mick's comments about 'look Norwich', never watch that scum of a programme.

McCarthy Appointment Reportedly Close
at 07:45:34

Great news if true, exactly the right type of manager we need at this moment in time. It will be interesting to know who's idea it was to bring Matty Holland in as part of the set up, was it the club or does Mick rate him highly himself and wanted him in, either way I am we'll pleased with this.

Holland Tight-Lipped on Town Role
at 14:19:59

I think this is a big clue as to what may happen, Matty Holland is an honest bloke and would have denied any rumours if asked, so there must be something going on. For me he would be a great appointment for assistant manager, would please most fans and he loves the club. So the new manager has to be one of four possibilities who all know Holland very well, either Curbishley, McCarthy, Burley or Rednapp.

Jewell Considering Town Future After Hull Defeat
at 19:54:54

I think jewell will be gone by Monday morning. He tried his best but we are just going round in circles and bringing in all these loan players was the last act of desperation. We need a new manager with fresh ideas and the sooner the better. Nice bloke jewell, but sadly it didn't work out.

Bury blue - I think you are being very generous to England there! But I get your point.

Don't care about friendlys, never have done and never will do. These are used to try out new players, formations, fitness etc, the result means nothing. Remember England beating Spain last year in a friendly! I'm sure pj is working hard on bringing in new players, so let's wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.

Stewart Could Be Back in Town Next Month
at 23:16:54

Beershelp - how could we forget Alan brazil? Great finisher, but no true heading ability in my opinion, unlike Stewart who was also a great header of the ball. I can't disagree with you about Mariner who was without doubt a superb striker and deserved to play for his country. I would say though that Mariner was more of a target man and was more known for "being good in the air", whereas for me Stewart was a more profolic striker and had more to his game.

Tottenham Midfielder Luongo Set for Town Loan
at 22:59:53

Is he the "mouth watering" signing? Can't say I've ever heard of him, but somebody must know that he's a very good player if he's described as "mouth watering", I really hope their right!

Beerhelps - all quality players that you mention. I am too young to compare him to the likes of Crawford and phillips. However I did witness the late 70's, early 80's and although we had some terrific forwards like Mariner, I still think Stewart was better. For me he was the ultimate striker in his day and had it all (except for real pace), we would never have finished 5th in the premiership if it wasn't for him.

Loach to Sign on Thursday
at 21:44:37

Fantastic news, well done pj and co for getting this deal done. £150k is a bargain, this makes up for the wasted money we spent on Priskin! Hopefully we will also sign another defender, left winger and striker before the season starts.

Town Target Kuszczak Joins Brighton
at 22:31:59

For me this is the most important position we need to sort this summer and we look as though we have missed out again. For those who want loach here next season, please note that Watford fans do not rate him and he was replaced by kuszczak last season. I hope PJ has other options!

This has to be a new all time low for the club, surely we cannot be a less attractive proposition than brighton, it doesn't get much lower than that!

Bullard in China Shop Window?
at 00:54:14

Tough one this, if jimmy comes back fit for the new season and concentrates on his football, then we have a great player for the team. But if he continues where he left off last season, then what a waste of wages which could be used on probably 2 decent new players. As he hardly played in the second half of last season, I think if someone did come in for him, the club will sell.
