| Forum Thread | Man of Match - AAH according to BBC! at 17:38 5 Jan 2025
I see all the Iraqi Ali Al Hamadi fans have voted him Man of the Match! He only played about 12 minutes and hardly touched the ball. I posted exactly this on BBC "Have your say" and they removed it. Apparently I broke the House Rules!! |
| Forum Thread | Please, just stay in your seats! at 20:15 19 Oct 2024
What is it with the modern supporter that they cannot go 45 minutes without going to the toilet? The rows in front of my seat today were an absolute nightmare. Going in and out all through the match and causing every one else in the row to stand and blocking the views of those who just want to watch - however bad it was. One bloke and his son went out three times in the second half even when we had a corner right below us! He spent much of the rest of the match face-timing someone on his phone. Of course they left on 85 minutes, blocking the view again. Another lady directly in front stayed seated, but was constantly refixing her hair and searching through her shopping bag. Why do they bother to come? I just want to watch the football!! |

| Forum Thread | That tickled me! at 21:00 16 May 2024
BBC live report - Leeds 3-0 Norwich The Canaries players looked stunned. They've been blown away, feathers flying everywhere, cage left wide open again and again. |
| Forum Thread | Stunned! at 15:41 27 Jan 2024
Like all on here, I'm completely stunned and gutted at probably the worst result in our history that will be replayed over and over for many years to compound the embarrassment. There must be lessons learned and the biggest has to be that it is imperative that we buy a proven goal scorer this week or the wonderful season so far is finished. Mark Ashton must go the maximum possible and get the player(s) needed for the final push. The stats today, speak for themselves and the only one that matters is goals scored. We failed miserably on that front and it is clear that Broadhead is not the answer as a straight replacement for the injured Hurst. KMcK has completely revolutionised this club from twenty years of misery, but I hope he has learned a tough lesson too. I don't think he disrespected Maidstone, but he thoroughly underestimated them and made too many changes. Sone Aluko is a great guy and will no doubt become a successful coach, but this must be his last appearance in an ITFC shirt. He failed miserably in the role today. It was a big mistake too to change the defence and keeper. It totally disrupted the way we normally play from the back. Embarrassing, yes, but if lessons are learned quickly, it could still be an amazing season. |
| Forum Thread | September goal of the month at 19:19 2 Oct 2023
Am I being thick or just blind, but I cannot see how to vote for goal of the month on the ITFC site "Supporters can watch all four nominees and vote for their Goal of the Month below." I can see the videos but where do I vote? |
| Forum Thread | Rest in Peace, Derek at 16:37 3 Aug 2022
I went to the funeral today of a life-long Town fan who died last month aged 95 years. His first match at Portman Road was in January 1939 vs Aston Villa in the F.A. Cup and he was still a regular attender up until four years ago when Alzheimers began to take effect. He was a lovely man, a R.N. veteran of WW2 and a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. Rest in peace Derek, we will miss you. |
| Forum Thread | Groundhog day? at 17:20 29 Jul 2022
I really hate this groundhog day or deja vu feeling I get on the day before the season starts. Is it just me trying not to get my hopes up too much that I won't be desperately disappointed again by Christmas? Didn't we say last year and the previous year that we have a good manager and the best squad for Division 1? I really hope it's true this year and the cycle is broken! I'm so longing for a successful season after twenty years of disappointments. Come whatever after 52 years since my first match, I'm forever a Blue! COYB |

"Footballs coming home"? That wasn't football and I'm glad i didn't have to pay for that multi-millionaire bore-fest. Well done Scotland, nice to see some passion. Southgate out! |
| Forum Thread | London Marathon - cheer on the town fan! at 10:56 1 Oct 2020
For those of you who are going to watch the London marathon on TV watch out for ardent Town fan and former Woodbridge boy Aaron Scott. Give him a cheer on from your sofas! This is his fifth London marathon and he has finished in the top 25 three times. His PB is 2:16:57 so he's not going to beat Eliud Kipchoge, but as his Dad I'm highly chuffed that he has been selected again in the elite race for GBR. |
