Is "football has moved on" just another lazy phrase like "be careful what you wish for"? I would be interested to know, if that is true, why George Burley and Terry Butcher could not have moved on too like others of their generation still doing a good job. There is no doubt in my mid that his style of football was the most exciting we have seen at PR since Sir Bobby. What is there to stop that being replicated today?
I have very little coaching knowledge, but am genuinely puzzled by the phrase.
I shall shortly be moving home and have a box of 100+ ITFC home programmes going free to first person willing to come and pick them up from Kirton IP10. They are mostly from the Burley era. 1994/95 - 8 Premier League 1995/96 - 3 1996/97 - 4 1997/98 - 7 1998/99 - 8 1999/00 - 11 2000/01 - 15 Premier League 2001/02 - 19 Premier League 2002/03 - 21 2003/04 - 21
I don't really like to just take them to the tip, but need to get rid of some stuff!
