According to the palace side we asked earlier in the window and told no they are keeping him so im assuming we moved for hutchinson so to make sure we had someone on board, but apprently palace changed their stance recently given we got hutchinson we were not going back in thats the way it goes if we had not had hutchinson right now we still would not get rak saki he will go the LC so we would have had nobody that would be worse |

IBig difference between interested and missed out on, missing out means we made an offer and the likes of Simms and Trusty we were never paying that amount, and was the Simms deal anything more than an option, MA said we were working on the Hirst deal for weeks so suggests he was the top target and we got it over the line, players dont come for lots of reasons they dont want too, we decided no, and id argue most of the interested that didnt come think the club passed either wrong deal or too pricey. |

Who cares he supports a club but plays for us big shock, so we can only have town fans play for us leaves us a small pool of players, benty was an arsenal fan he put that aside to play for spurs, its a job as long as they do it well and he has we should not care |

The agree fee Blackburn had was 5m widely reported around the time he was returning as the reason for the return as they didnt want to pay it and needed LC permission to end the loan but LC would only end it if he had somewhere else to go and we stepped up, otherwise he would have sat out the season and not played enough to trigger the clause, do we have one IDK but 8 figures is way off the mark. |

Wasnt the media reports of loads of clubs interested in him, that might be true on a free or a low fee but hes contracted like it or not we have our value and those loads of clubs are not keen enough to come close, seems like his agent spun him a yarn based on a false prospectus, im afraid i see a year with no football and if hes lucky in 12 months prob end up in non league or at best L2 after being told CS are interested agents have a lot to answer for. |

We hear that its a wages issue so everyone assumes BC wants more, but as far as i see its a loan the wage % is agreed in the loan contract the player has zero say in that all he can do is refuse to go, which as it was agreed sounds like what happened with the turkish deal, maybe dijon wants a higher % than last year we wont offer it so dijon is hawking him around europe for a bigger %, BC might be happy coming here but unless dijon agree our loan contract hes stuck. |

In grants comments he says one to ones and group training, so i read it as one to one as individual training as well as group training, so might not be one on ones but the training that mckenna and pert wants to be trained. |

So cause of that hes not good enough but preston were prepared to pay 2 million for a bad player, he was a loan player at wigan and the players they had were doing ok imo so not going to be easy to break into that team, if there is anything to it and mckenna thinks its the kind of player we need who are we to say no. |

they dont want him if we do which tbf im not sure we do, i can see us asking about a free transfer even though he has a deal, hes wanted off the wages, if they still wanna fee and we dont think hes worth a fee we move on you dont ask you dont get, still think targetted recruitment will be more important than fees, getting the right players regardless if they are free or expensive is key. |

Dont mean there are not players able to do well, buying doesnt bring success targetting the right players regardless of cost is more important, for example luton team cost about a million this season and most clubs in L1 cost less than us they finished 6th in CS and we were behind 10 others in L1, buying is not the quick fix getting the right players is. |

I get that but the likes of bakinson and even now jeremie bela who couldt be a good LWB are now free agents for me they would be useful options to allow the money we have got to get in a true goalscorer, it seems everyone wants to buy players and not looking at the free market. |

TBF if palace loaned him anywhere it would be CS if it was L1 which i doubt as hes had a season in CS going lower wont improve him, but if he went anywhere in L1 you would imagine Derby would be his preferred choice. |

Out of all those barring Aluko and jackson the rest have either offered little or we can do better than this is not a MEs regime where we sign contracts cause we need numbers we need as KMac has said quality not quantity and out of the list there is little quality i would be looking at getting rid or dobra piggott even if needs be elmiz if he doesnt suit the team cut the wages bill for 5 or 6 quality players and opening up the path as we call for for youth. |

Im sure its not an easy job to get done by end of july, the PA sucks if it works and everyone can hear it does it matter how that happens, or whats has been done to make it work, as long as it is, we dont need to or wont know everything just delight in the needed improvements. |
