So, Contracts 15:31 - Apr 4 with 4854 views | Cheltenham_Blue | In my opinion. Aluko - 1 year extension Norwood - 1 year extension Carroll - No. Jackson - 2 year with option Kenlock - No Clements - Trigger 1 year extension Donacien - 2 year with Option Simpson - Trigger 1 year extension Have I missed anyone? So, Contracts on 15:33 - Apr 4 with 3013 views | ElderGrizzly | JD already has a new contract doesn't he? Agree on all the others, apart from Norwood. I can't see him being part of McKenna's plans when he has a fairly blank chequebook in the summer.

Does he? I must have missed that. Good. I just think Norwood offers something different if we need to win ugly.

So, Contracts on 15:45 - Apr 4 with 2912 views | HighgateBlue | Agreed. Subject to: i) Norwood not being on silly money. As said elsewhere, if he's on silly money we can probably do better. He's underwhelmed slightly of late, for me; ii) Do we know for sure what Simpson's contractual position is? He must must must get some game time in the last few games of the season. Criminal not to.

So, Contracts on 15:48 - Apr 4 with 2894 views | Churchman | I’d say goodbye to Norwood. Doesn’t offer enough and hopefully we can do better. Pigott the same. Simpson - if he wants away let him go. We don’t need anyone here that doesn’t want to be here. Ok with the rest. [Post edited 4 Apr 2022 16:45]

So, Contracts on 16:55 - Apr 4 with 2588 views | Strimmer | Couldnt go for Norwood either. In my mind he was always 'limited player, but effective at what he does and gets enough goals' but the goals just haven't come of late. Albeit his 'playing ugly' stuff does seem to be an asset the team as a whole lacks, perhaps we need his level of aggression from someone who directs and controls it a bit more.

Norwood has given us nothing recently when we needed it

You mean someone who is a bit less like a pub player

Assisted our winning goal against Plymouth and was involved in all of our big moments on Saturday. He's head and shoulders above all of our other fit strikers, and over a season he'll score more than Jackson will. It's not as if he's not offering the team anything and missing loads of chances, he's been given limited service. He's also an experienced head amongst a relatively young squad and a talker. We've lacked characters and players with a voice for years and still do in my opinion. He's a perfect squad player.

Yeah a really fine example of a player for youngsters to look up to. He's not offered enough for me and he's had enough chances over 3 seasons now. We need and can do far better than Norwood. There are far better strikers playing in L1 for clubs in lower positions then we are

And Norwood'll be 32 in September so unlikely to show any improvement.

So, Contracts on 22:40 - Apr 4 with 2089 views | Dubtractor | My thoughts FWIW Aluko - 1 year extension, probably. Is he fit enough? Can never play 2 games in a week, and tends to get subbed off quite often. That's been fine this year, but another year on and his fitness will decline. I'm torn as I love watching him. Norwood - No. We need fresh options up front, and he isn't really suited to McKenna's system. Carroll - No. God no. Jackson - Yes Kenlock - No, it is amazing how long he has remained a Town player as he is a pretty poor player. Clements - No. Just not good enough from what I saw earlier in the season. Simpson - Trigger 1 year extension and hopefully sort longer term future after that.

Drink driving for a second time in his 30s, just what we need to set an example eh
